I'm afraid you are mistaken. There are plenty of people who lurk here and who post here and your "BUSH PR" effort would get you fired from the RNC.

For someone who seemed to want to reduce the amount of arguing on FR in your first post, you sure have been doing a lot of arguing since then.

I am amazed that he has been able to accomplish even a third of what he has managed to do, with little or no help at all from those we trusted for help. You just don't know how insulting your rhetoric is to conservatives, do you?
Conservatives have done everything but bleed for this President and this administration. They have been his stalwart support, even in the face of insults and disregard.
Think before you type.
To: dubyaismypresident
Well, you think you are helping Bush I am not trying to help anyone I am just pointing out the realities of FR. There are no votes in that 20% that could be gained for Bush by pro-Bush freepers begging or debating. Every reason under the sun for voting Bush has bee put forward and it has done no good just as it did no good in 2000.

Man you are touchy tonight..... I've not slammed a soul in that post. Only talked about some numbers from exit polling, etc, Rove's expectation of Religious Right voters and how Keyes and Buchanan would win FR polls in 2000..... Now if you consider that slamming then so be it....

I think my point is important.
Do you?
Do you find all of the conservative-bashing tiresome and counter-productive?

They just can't stand the thought that the GOP has moved on and left them behind.

Every reason under the sun for voting Bush has bee put forward and it has done no good just as it did no good in 2000. Yeah. In that wonderful 'compassionate conservative' tone.
And yes, I will turn off my sarcasm tag.

I haven't spoken in generalities. I am speaking to exactly what I've seen, heard, and read right here and on State Pages. Some of the rhetoric is appalling. That is what I was addressing...It would be wiser to address it on a case by case, poster by poster, quote by quote basis, IMO.

"That 20% is and always has been anti-GOP/Bush."

Exactly. Again -- they don't want to take responsibility for their convictions and actions, that they may be responsible for the election of Kerry, the same way they were responsible for the election of Bill Clinton.
To deflect that responsibility, they blame Bush and those who support him, for somehow "turning them off".

One of the interesting to note, espcially from the people who throw out "statistics" on FR like "He gains two votes for every one he picks up by moving center" is that the centrists don't go out and campaign, they don't go out and talk up their candidate, they don't knock on doors, they don't register voters and they don't get out the word.
Doesn't seem like a good gamble to me.......

Look at past fr polls, and past election threads. I stand by my 20% if you don't believe it fine. EVERY election the 3rd party guys come out of the woodwork. These guys are NOT potential GOP voters.
To: diotima
Yep.

Sorry, but you are wrong or you are intentionally avoiding the rest of the bill. It's a real shame that you would jump on the bandwagon against Phameceutical Companies when their choices have been narrowed to practically nil by the very Socialist Countries who will NOT ber their share of the burden. Thank Hitlery for screwing them into the ground as much as she could, and don't talk to me about gouging. Canada gouges us. Mexico gouges us. Every country that doesn't pay its fair share gouges us. But I rather like being in healthy condition, and I rather think that most seniors were doing pretty well in spite of all the beserkers. There is a rather unique program among American Pharm. Companies. If medication is necessary, and for some reason, there is no help to be found anywhere, they provide the medication on a private basis. When was the last time you heard of someone dying from lack of suitable medication or healthcare in this country?
