How much have you paid in?
How much will you get a month in "benefits"?
How many months will it take to be paid what you have paid in? How much longer will you live past that point, and how many $$$$ will you collect in other Gov't benes (other peoples money!) during that time?
It's even simpler than you stated in your post. Get the Gov't TOTALLY out of the retirement (and health) system. Privatize it all - the Federal Government had no business meddling in this anyway.
The "Gimme generation" will bankrupt this Nation; and their own grandchildren. How much is enough?
