You remind me of the horse in the desert, that died from thirst at an oasis. It refused to drink from the well because a camel had taken a drink from it earlier.

Save it! Constantly, mindlessly repeating lies is SOP of the other side. If you want to operate in that mode, go join it.

Nope it is the one that Clinton signed and Bush unsigned. The one that Kerry would re-sign and the new democrat Senate would ratify.
The Senate voted 97-0 against ratification of Kyoto under Clinton, and that number included over 40 Democrats. Kyoto was done before Bush tossed it deservedly in the roundfile. Kerry can sign Kyoto again, but it takes 67 votes in the Senate to ratify, and that will never happen.

Thanks for posting that transcript. I was happy to see Keyes on the show tonight.
Alan was as eloquent and articulate as always, and he was solid and unequivocal in his warning that the Democrats must not take the White House. He was mildly critical of Bush on some issues (I think most of us are) but I have no doubt that Keyes will do what he can to help Bush get reelected. I am certainly glad that he is on our side.
That interview had to drive CAL and some of the other refugees nuts.
Regards,
LH

I dunno Geron, readin your posts tonight... I'm thinkin you might be drinkin somethin other than Kool-aid, old friend... ; )
To: GeronL
If you support the war on terrorism, then you need to support the president in his re-election. It's that simple.
NONE of the democrats will support it. Tey will pull us out of Iraq prematurely, ask permission of the UN every time we need to do something militarily, and demoralize the military and the intelligence agencies. They will open up a "dialogue" with Al Qaeda, and stab Israel in the back.
Gripe and lobby next year all you want about domestic issues. We don't have the luxury of threatening to withhold votes right now. It is too important.
To: Jim Robinson
I don't usually see you in action in the threads, glad to see you support our president.
As if the 2000 elections were not enough, the dems are headed to a real defeat in 2004 if Keyes has as good handle on American voters as I think he does. It's all about survival.......we do not want to be voted off the planet by terrorists. Voting may be all we can do to that end, and vote we will. God bless American troops, whom the dems would gladly deny the right to vote and whom we owe a great deal. I will make MY vote count in November and it will be for GW.

It's not just about the terrorists, the #1 reason to vote Bush is the courts.
Have you been drinking the koolaid being served by the Massachusetts Supreme Court this evening?
To: Sabertooth
You sound awful sure of yourself. If the "divided government" numbskulls get their way and stay at home the Senate could very well be lost. If you don't think Kerry could get Kyoto ratified you are gambling a hell of a lot more than a 500 billion dollar prescription bill. All Kerry has to do is EO the accords pending senate approval and he is so desperate to get back into the good graces of the "community of nations" he will do it.

In case you missed Han and Colmes or this thread -- here it is! This one's for you.

Well, I wish he was more conservative in a lot of areas, but that doesn't mean I'd want to toss him overboard for Kerry. If you really believe that any third party candidate is going to get elected to the Presidency in 2004, I think you best quit spiking that cool-aid.

Free Republic is an online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conformist, one-issue conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back expand decades of governmental largesse, to root out ignore political fraud and corruption (unless its 'our' corruption), and to champion causes The CAUSE which further conservatism safety in America. And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!
