That's interesting. notice the shadow? I expected this to be a rock poking out of the ground, with dirt covering it a bit. It's something else.

I am very, very curious myself. It doesn't look like a normal break pattern for a rock, and it looks too jagged (organic?) to be something ejected from the lander, so it is anomalous.
