How can you seriously object to a law that allows scientists and others to challenge faulty bureaucratic data and science?

Are you saying that it's okay to write up agency rules based on spurious science?

Since the preponderance of posters to this thread seem to think that more big government is a good idea...go for it.

Puh-leeze! It's called accountability.

This stuff doesn't effect the science at all. It effects "significant regulatory information". It seems to me that if scientists are interested only in science and not in promoting public policy that they wouldn't care one way or the other.

This is, of course, on the heels of the decision of the NIH to continue funding sex research. Sure, mathematics isn't "applied" enough but female masturbation studies is high-order scientific research by the greatest minds we have available.
