I figured Arnold would be so busy trying to save the State from fiscal ruin that he wouldn't have time to bring up this divisive issue.
But I was wrong - I guess RINOnegger had more important things to worry about than keeping the State from bankruptcy.

Statements: "World Net Daily: Schwarzenegger Ready To license Illegal Aliens (Driver's Licenses)
Response: Thank heavens! I was sick that we were not exhibiting to the 'undocumented' that we had "A Big Tent," and "Room At The Table!" I could not sleep and even experienced a certain looseness of the bowels over the thought of an 'undocumented one' feeling rejected.

So far I haven't seen it. But I am waiting with a certain patience for the first Arnold supporter to come and say something to the effect of: " well, it was bad because Davis did it, but since Arnold has an (R) after his name, its the greatest idea since the wheel ".

Apparently Arnold learned nothing from the CA Recall. If Arnold does grant driver's licenses to illegals, he should be recalled.

Both Democrats and Republicans are pushing the country to increased socialism. The latter just does it with a slower pace. It is inevitable.

I'll believe it when I see it...from Arnold himself. It seems to me all these stories are coming from the Dems. Let's just wait and see.

The Republicans move to the left and the Democrats move to the left.
We're screwed, you know.

Am I the only one here who ISN'T going simply to assume that this is a "done deal"? Nothing concrete (that's bad) has been done. Let's just wait and see what happens ... and, certainly, make it clear that any moves such as are hinted at in this article, would lead to a repeal referendum -- probably coupled with an Arnold recall.
So let's wait and see what happens.
I for one remember how Arnold used to "psyche out" his bodybuilding opponents, and thus wonder whether perhaps he isn't leading Gil Cedillo and company down the proverbial garden path ... to nowhere. (Here's hoping.)
