The negatives of this President vastly outweighs the positive. Republicans love to talk about the taxcuts, without mentioning that he has created a five trillion dollar unfunded mandate that will not only wipe out the tax-cut but will require a tax increase. But, Bush wouldn't be around for that.

Second Amendment
> 1. Ordered Attorney General Ashcroft to formally notify the Supreme Court that the OFFICIAL U.S. government position on the 2nd Amendment is that it supports INDIVIDUAL rights to own firearms, and is NOT a Leftist-imagined "collective" right.
But subject to "reasonable restrictions", meaning that any restriction he (or Hillary) imagines are not "infringements.
> 2. Signed TWO bills into law that arm our pilots with handguns in the cockpit.
And has let his administrators castrate the program to the point that it is hazing for pilots who wish to participate.
> 3. Currently pushing for full immunity from lawsuits for our national gun manufacturers.
Solidly alongside Tom Daschle on this no-brainer that simply affirms ancient legal principles.
4. Supports making the Clinton Gun Ban permanent.

Yes sir, Wolfstar, I'll be sure to thank Southack. I've pinged him before and he's always responded with his list.
Thank you, Southack. :)

Utter unanimity of opinion isn't healthy for any forum.
"Utter unanimity?" Aw, come on, you can do better than that!

It is an embellishment. I don't want to use the word lie because that would get me banned here, and I like arguing too much in this bulletin board.

If there is one thing that I haven't seen during all the time I've been at FR, it is "utter ananimity of opinion".
Some people will fret until that's what they get on this topic.

Hatred? You have GOT to be kidding. You lower the import of the word as liberals do when they trot out their Hitler analogies. You engage in the same hyperbole as the left does when you demean and debase those who would disagree.
CFR was profoundly bad law. The President signed in knowing full well it was unconstitutional. Most people don't care since they don't engage in political free speech. Would you care if CFR were amened to encompass political forums such as this one?
Then there is the "Guest Worker" program, Sarbanes-Oxley, the expansion of government, et. al. -- these are not small things and principled conservatives are not engaging in hate when they state so.
President Bush has many great accomplishments to his credit, but this effort over the past few days to alientate and belittle those who would disagree is nothing short of hypocritical.

That makes it totally unbiased.Do have some specifics you take issue with?
To: bioprof
Absolutely. I understand why President Bush chose not to point fingers at Clinton. He had a nation to keep together. But, if there is blame that should go to anyone other than the terrorists, that blame rests at the feet of William Jefferson Clinton and his monumentally negligent foreign policy.

You are right of course, there is none so blind as those who will not see. The partial birth abortion ban, have you read it? It's nothing more than a manual on how to perform a federaly sanctioned partial birth abortion.
It really doesn't matter if Bush walks on water, all of the above is temporary and worthless if he is allowed to sign us up to the FTAA treaty, have you read it? And if he is allowed to push a permanent state of socialism on the nation by, in effect, dissolving our borders and giving the demonrats 12 million new voters like Reagan did in 1986 by giving the demonrats a new 3 million strong voting block over night.

The negatives of this President vastly outweighs the positive. Well then, let's hear the positives of a President John F* Kerry. That should make for a long list.

2) His defense of American sovereignty. I liked Buchanan back in 1996 when he made American sovereignty a top priority. Now that Bush has done more for protecting American sovereignty than any president in recent history, Buchanan trashes Bush every chance he gets. I have lost all respect for Buchanan.
