Were you under the impression that I was expecting a REPLY from you?
I gave no contemplation to your expectations. I suppose I was confused by the fact that you posted to me. Well, I wasn't. I'm not interested in your formatting, nor your little icon, nor your sanctimonious drivel, which most of us bypass. I was merely pointing out that what you stated as fact was, in fact, untrue, and more than likely your opinion or wishful thinking.
Well, you should read Candide, it's not very many pages.

No, I am not a one issue person. Many other issues concerning Life, Liberty and Property cause me to determine who to vote for.
It is just this one issue that would turn me completely away.
Is there any issue you care deeply enough about?
What if a man talked just like Howard Dean but wore the Republican label?
He claims to be a fiscal conservative who believes in the 2nd amendment rights?

I don't play paintball. I just help put people who don't belong here get back to their own country before they mess up my property. If they don't like the situation in Mexico, they should borrow a set of cojones and try to fix the problem. Otherwise they just squat to pee.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak my mind. I lost my job this past year. When Clinton was president I was secure and prosperous, but in the last year, we had to close our operations.
We simply could not compete with foreign labor. This foreign labor worked for low pay under very bad conditions.
They worked very long shifts, and many even died on the job.
This competition could hardly be called "fair." I was forced out of the place where I had worked for 34 years.
Not a single government program was there to help me.
How can Bush call himself "compassionate?" Far worse, I lost two of my sons in Bush's evil war in Iraq. They gave their lives for their country, and for what? So that Bush's oil buddies can get rich. My pain of losing my sons is indescribable.
While it is trivial next to the loss of my sons, I regret to say that I also lost my home. I simply have nothing left. How can Bush call himself a Christian when he neglects people like me? I am a senior citizen with various medical problems. I'm not in a position where I can begin a new career. I was reduced to the point where I had to live in a hole in a ground, all because of President Bush.
And when the authorities found me there, did they have any compassion for my misfortune and ailments? No, I was arrested. Mr. Bush, I dare you to look me in the face and tell me you are a compassionate man! I dare you to look me in the face and tell me you are a Christian! If I had any money left, I would donate it to the Democrat Party. I now support Kerry for President.
If Al Gore had been elected in 2000 I would still have a job, a home, and most importantly, my dear sons!
Regards, Saddam Hussein

I know, thats the reason it is the most ridicules idea. I agree with ya. I was just giving my limited experience with illegals.
In any event, I better avoid this topic, as I'm sure there are much more important things to discuss on this thread.
You are right it could go on forever.

No, I am not a one issue person.Don't fall for that "Oh, your a one issue person huh".
That's pure libspeak.
If one's house is on fire and burning to the ground, one would have a tendency to be a one issue person, and focus his energy on putting out the fire.
Our doors and windows to our home have been left wide open, and millions are jumping through those doors and windows unabated, at will. Those that are not gravely concerned, either have an agenda or have been asleep for a long time.

And? When I see people in my community association forum trying to dissuade people from supporting Bush for re-election, I step in and try to persuade the people to support him. Of course the people in my community association forum doing this are liberals and hard leftists.
But what is the difference between that and the folks here screaming at everyone to vote for Tancredo or Peroutka? Voting for them is JUST AS MUCH voting opposition as voting for the Democrat. Since I believe that Bush and the GOP are the best vehicle for furthering my values at this point then I don't care how close someone is to me philosophically... if they are voting against Bush they are political opposition.

I had to clean the water off my monitor and key board when I read the final lines. It was good that it was just Arrowhead water and not milk, beer or wine.
