What a sad commentary on the state of our politics. They can lie all they want as long as the "perform" wellIt is very sad. I did not stick around for punditry as I'd had enough, but I'm very disappointed that they didn't point out Kerry's dissembling by calling Vietnam "Nixon's war", as one example.

Sorry I got dumped from the thread when my PC went down.
Did yall see Edwards Hijack a question from brit and start espousing what he wanted to talk about? "the poor in America"
Brecky is making a move people.

I hope I'm not indulging in wishful thinking...but no joke, Howard Dean and Judy are very appealing. Lordyloo, I hope the voters of New Hampshire agree!!
And I'd like Howard Dean win New Hampshire just to pay back Chris Mathews for replaying that concession speech tape, dozens..literally dozens of times.
I repeat... I think Lieberman and Dean won tonight, hands down.

He scared me for awhile as a new, golden boy for the dems.He is so inept, I no longer think he has a chance. He may do better in a speech, no questions asked of him.

Puke Diane comparing Hillary's running around the campaign trail with a smaller daughter vs. Mrs. Dean who has been absent. MRS. DEAN HAS A PROFESSION caring for the sick while Hillary just plain made us sick. Post of the day!
To: RedMonqey
I should have clarified, he did good for the demoncrat primary.
As it stands, they're all screwed overall.
To: YaYa123
I'd like them to be the candidate just to infuriate Chris Lehane.

The media spin tomorrow will be on full blast. They will all claim that Kerry held his own and Dean is done.
To: cyncooper
Diane is asking lame questions -- what was your reaction to Iowa (showing clips of his speech as well as late night comics having a field day). Showed a clip of his anger during the campaign toward a camerman and he explained that the camera hit a woman over the head, thus his reaction. She then questioned why Mrs. Dean doesn't campaign with her hubby. When Judy explained her obligations to her patients and caring for her children at home, Diane mentioned that Hillary had a young daughter yet managed to be beside her husband. I must admit that Dean's answers have been quite upfront and CALM. I'm waiting for her to ask a policy question but none have been forthcoming.

DU = Democratic Underground and I try to steer clear as it is a dank and foul place, but I like to hear second-hand what they say when it regards "their" chosen leaders.
The ABC program airs in half an hour here and I might watch a bit of it.
To: StarFan
I don't think Diane Sawyer knows what policy is.

I know they have those two, just wasn't sure if they have more. Son is 17 and still at home, daughter is igrown and no longer at home. Just couldn't figure out why Mrs Dean was so concerned about keeping the "children" from watching too much TV. :)

I hope Diane Sawyer got her rabies shots before interviewing Dean. And have a couple of men with tranquiler guns on standby.

Well the interview is over and if Diane's intent was to demoralize him further or get his ire going again, she flunked. He scored points being honest yet not too apologetic.
To: CyberAnt
She looks better tonight than usual. :)

Watching Hannity grill Clark's and Kerry's spokesmen...what lying spinners.
Anyone with half a brain knows what their canidates have said and voted on but both are saying "that's not so" when called on it.
Clark's guy says "he's been consistent on his position on Iraq from the very beginning"!
WOW! I wish I could get someone to pay me to lie.
