This whole deal with criminals coming into the US is no new phenomena. I went to work for Bechtel Corp 35 years ago as a laborer on an all Mexican crew in Wyoming. I became good friends with Jake the Apache foreman and his half Mexican son. They both told me back then that most of these people coming into the US were banditos. The US has known what was coming into this country for years and has not done a damn thing to stop it.

Police scanners only tell a fraction of a crime facts, most of the time, no facts or details are revealed during police radio transmissions. That comes later in the investigation.
