Congratulations Mr. Robinson. I was glad to see you fight back in defense of your (our) good name.

Free Republic is a place for anyone and everyone to voice their opinions on all matters. And because this forum is so popular and effective those who don't like it attack and accuse us falsely in the hopes of shutting us down.

Since Free Republic has been here the people all over the country and the world have united and networked. We have helped each other, prayed for each other especially Baby Logan,:)and encouraged each other when one was down for whatever reason.

I don't know of any other outlet where just plain ole common everyday people can communicate, share, inform and get out the latest news before a lot of other places even have it. This is REAL TIME and we don't need the so called elite media to tell us what is going on. By the time the media decides to report to us on what they choose to tell us it's too late anyway 'cause Freepers know already!!! :)

Free Republic is more than just a place to exchange views and other things. To me Free Republic IS the voice of the people. We are heard here loud and clear and we learn things that we would never know if we depended on the media.

Free Republic IS what this country stands for. Free Republic is strong and has made an enormous impact on gettin information out to people. We are NOT in the dark anymore. We know what is going on. We respond to what is going on. We make our voices and feelings known and we reach out to each other. That's pretty powerful.

So, it is NOT surprising that there are forces out there that would like to see us go away. We ARE making a difference and so we are attacked. But...that's not surprising anymore either. That seems to happen all over. Attack, attack, attack.

You are to be commended Mr. Robinson on the avenue you brought to people so they can be a part of what is going on and can do all they can in support of our great country and freedom of speech.

I have gained so much from this site and personally I am so glad you are here. Keep up the good work for the good of everyone. Free Republic WORKS and we've only just begun!!!

While its a nice gesture, Im sure Miss Reyes is gainfully employed within the walls of the city building, she probably is in one of the least-visible jobs to be done around there. Nice gesture though...

My wife and I were both born and raised in Fresno, but escaped in 1990 to the only place in the country where the politics are as screwy as California's, ie, Illinois. This statement does not surprise me a bit, and I am really glad that you whupped them.
We landed here in Danville, IL in '98 after bouncing up and down the state, and 4 years after arriving here, I was elected to our county board. I am now running for Township Supervisor, which is the equivalent of mayor of several small towns. They seem to think for some reason that I can get the job...anyway..Long live the FreeRepublic!! and yes, an RV would be nice...Come on back and visit!

Way to go. If anything, FreeRepublic has bent over backwards to maintain a wholesome image.
There are views that I would have been less stringent on but hey, that's me.

Was thinking as I was reading your excellent post . . . do we need a what . . . a fund, there's another word . . . a bank account acruing interest and principle in preparation for more such onslaughts?

Methinks this is not the last of them. Evil will not just go away until Christ deals the final death blow to it at Armageddon. And FR is a shining light evil will likely continue attacking as long and insideously as possible. I think we should be prepared.
