I hope they don't wear out the reverse gear.

Team Dean's car is a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo with blue and red stars and stripes, according to designs provided by the team.I think a red car with a yellow stripe down the middle would be more appropriate.

(If you totally agree with me, you must be nuts.)
Ms. Titman said there "is not a whole lot" of contact with the Dean campaign.
"We're trying to stay as far away from them as possible," she said.

That Busch Team will gladly take his money, but Howard Dean would be booed off the track if he showed up on race day. If that North eastern liberal elitist and socialist Leper thinks he can win over NASCAR fans by sponsoring a car after the condescending and arrogant remarks he has made about southerners this past year, he must be smoking crack

Earth to Dean supporters:
Those cars get about five miles per gallon.

If Dean thinks he can win the so-called NASCAR dads (the "key demographic" seems to change every year), he's dreaming. The guy has this picture in his head where everyone in the South drives around with confederate flags on pick-up trucks and are dirt poor and racist. Sadly, it's pretty much the standard image that Northern elites have of the South.

I hope Howard the Duck actually shows up. That would be a riot.

I want to see "Howard Dean for President" a smoking wreck being towed from the track. I will personally send $100 dollars to the driver who wrecks that car. The pictures will be priceless.

2004 - bad career choice nominees:
- Owner/driver driver Brian Weber, Team Dean.
Having the terms "insane","out-of-control", "waffle", "flip", "Doctor", "implode", or "crash and burn" associated with a NASCAR team is a great idea!

Somebody didn't think this all the way through. How long before a wrecked Dean Team car is on the news?
To: NormsRevenge
I hope they don't wear out the reverse gear. Na they won't even get out of the pit before the car is wrecked!

Maybe a pool should be started. The winner will be the first person who predicts which driver introduces the "duck" to the outside wall.
Sheesh! I hate this, I watch NASCAR for the racing, not the New Hampshirean Candidate. I am probably wrong, but I think this will cost more votes than it will gain.

There is a lot of money being thrown around behind the scenes, now that soft-money to parties has been banned. Money is coming in from overseas to 527 organizations, billionaires who live abroad are pumping in millions...it's chaotic. Nothing has changed- there are still hundreds of millions going to fly around. Now there's just no reporting and no limits. CFR couldn't stop the demand for money, it just is coming in a different way.

At the very least the other drivers will deeply resent the Dean team and wreck them at every opportunity.
