We should start a thread guessing how much money the President will spend in his SOTU. I'd suggest a drinking game -- take a swig every time he gives away another billion dollars -- but anyone who played it would be dead with no need of embalming.

No. I'm saying it's wrong to spend millions of taxpayer's dollars to do so.In case it went past you, only the Congress can spend the taxpayers money. In other words if Congress approves of the spending bill the president submits put the blame where it belongs, but not on the president. And if the president vetoes a bill, the Congress has the power to override the bill

In case it went past YOU, the president proposed the bill and has a bully pulpit to help push it through Congress -- if he chooses.
The bottom line is that he continues to try and fix everything with big bucks and he doesn't need to do that -- he's A-OK without such shenanigans.
