Why is this guy dressed like Aunt Jamima with the Africans in the background laughing at him?

PBS Nightly News has has Laurie Mylroie on many times in the past. She usually was the only one making sense. Hopefully, they'll have her on soon and talking about this.

but this document has the potential to be ugly. not that it is anyway accurate, but it does imply that there was a plan to divvy up world oil between the administration's buddies. This charge (and no others- they are all ridiculouos) should be addressed. I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. You say, "It does imply that there was a plan..." The document in question does not imply that. As I understand it, the book says it (not implies it), but the evidence that they based the accusation on is this document which, as the article at the top of this thread points out, was part of an assessment of world oil supply: "the document has nothing to do with post-war Iraq. It was part of a study of global oil supplies."

Well, Suskind doesn't take much figuring out (duh, which way is a liberal Jew from Manhattan gonna break on the election?) but O'Neill is more puzzling.
Hearing him on the radio, his voice is extremely effeminate; Suskind's is also, to a lesser degree. Of course, O'Neill's treasury bio says he is married with grown children, so he may not be someone whose main unspoken issue is Bush's opposition to gay "marriage," even if that's what he sounds like.
O'Neill does not appear to have ever been in the military. He worked much of his life (1961-1977) as a government bureaucrat.

Don't believe it. DU and several liberal websites has had threads up all day encouraging their brownshirts to go over and vote. It's been spammed.

Judicial Watch obtained it in a law suit and posted it, along with related documents, on its website at: http://www.judicialwatch.org/071703.c_.shtml Indeed, when this story first broke yesterday, the Drudge Report had the Judicial Watch document linked... - original post
I just heard on ABC news that the Treasury Dept is launching an investigation in to how O'Neil got a copy of this document (did he take it with him when he left) - reply #38
I'm confused. If Judicial Watch had already made the document publicly available, why is the Treasury Dept launching an investigation?

TOO LATE -- NICE TRY AT COUNTER-SPIN, BUT THE PRESIDENT HAS ALREADY ISSUED HIS MEA CULPA ("REGIME CHANGE").
To: CaptIsaacDavis
Do you mean impeached President Clinton's 1998 plan for Iraqi regime change? Didn't he give a speech to that effect?

This was the thread I was referring to earlier when I mentioned this subject. All we hear in the mainstream media, especially in Pgh (home of Alcoa)are the falsehoods and outright lies.

Is this the same article that the treasury Dept is investigating? If it is a sham, why are they investigating o'Neil as to how he got it?
To: cjshapi
It's amazing. The media no longer even
tries to report news. They report only what is best-suited to their propaganda.
I mean, besides on Free Republic, where else have you heard US forces found chemical weapons in Iraq two days ago??? HUSH HUSH! This might help Bush!
