this is clearly spin aimed at getting the Goofy General nominated,,,notice the media screaming loud as they can that Clark is nearly even with Dean.
What the Clintoons want they usually get.
Funny thing is that Dean will start to return fire and then Kerry could just sneak in under the radar...same could be said for Geppy and Breck Girl.
This will get a lot dirtier as the mud starts to fly...just wait until they start parading former employees or former friends out to trash the candidates...similar to what Paul O'Neil is doing to Bush.

It should not be a surprise that people were so sick of Dean in Vermont they elected a Republican governor (Jim Douglas). I looked up the Vermont Governor's race. Dean's statewide totals decreased each election cycle. He won with 70% of the vote in 1996 and this decreased to 50 in 2000.
This is the Secretary of State for Vermont's site.

This is released on a Friday afternoon. If bubba and the bitch were behind this ,it would have come out on a Sunday talk show, or Tuesday morning.
I think the Dean campaign let this out for the mimimal exposure it will receive.

"Tenderizing a steak." Heheheh. Good analogy. My concern is that they are finding too much dirt too soon, and that he may not with the nomination. Go, Howard, Go.

If I were Clark, I'd be more concerned of having Hillary as my VP than Dean as my competition.
To: doug from upland
This has Hillary's fingerprints on it. Hillary has fingers?! Talons, maybe, but fingers....?

I'm now seriously concerned that Dean will tank before he gets the nomination.

The AP reported this. Are they stooges for the Clintons? Were you real, real, busy during that Impeachment thingy?

My mistake. If the article comes directly from AP, then excerpt. IF it comes via another source, it's OK (assuming that source is not prohibited)

The thing is, though, Howard Dean's got a lot of passionate supporters who will NOT be easily swayed. This will only fire them up even more - because they'll see it as the establishment (the sellouts) trying to sabotage their guy.

What's the big deal? It was legal and perfectly ethical. Being a conservative isn't a license to fabricate scandals out of nothing.
To: hchutch
Yep....this will make the Deanies crazier..

My concern is that they are finding too much dirt too soonIowa is very big so they must go ugly early. This is probably the best they have.

Chicago, you said: "What's the big deal? It was legal and perfectly ethical. Being a conservative isn't a license to fabricate scandals out of nothing."
This is an AP story fella. Get your facts straight. You left wingers are so transparent.
