Nobody gives a crap. He had the technology to make and transfer WMD to terrorists. He no longer can do that.

He ran a retirement home in Baghdad for terrorists, one of whom was directly responsible for the murder of Leon Klinghoffer, an American citizen confined to a wheelchair. Abu Abbas will not be killing any more Americans.

Abu Nidal committed suicide with three to the head in Baghdad as an effort at appeasement. Abu won't be masterminding any more terrorist acts.

Uday and Qusay, the pervsy twins, committed untold atrocities killing and raping women and children along with those men who dared question their brand of Marxism. Uday and Qusay are dead, killed by American warriors and never to be heard from again.

Libya and Iran are begging for inspections. Even the Sudanese are rethinking their 2 million plus ongoing pogrom.

In short, screw the liberal sh5theads who wouldn't recognize evil if it bit them on their fat asses.

At the same time, a prestigious Washington-based research foundation, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, has published a scathing report on President Bush's case for war.

BS... This organization has access to nothing. Amazing that they could even pretend to come to any assessment about the case for war.

Gee, last time I knew there were about 1500 folks involved in the search. How does 400 hundred of them going home mean they've called off the search?

The 400 going home are the weapons handling and disposal personnel. The search will continue. When they find something, the others will return. More spin.

Maybe this means the president will have something to report during his SOTU speech.

Perhaps. I'm sure it is all written already; I just wish I had an advance copy of the script.

I like that...perfect symmetry...sort of like the symmetry of a sphere, they never change no matter how you look at em, or hear them.....

Diogenesis, those 9/11 pictures are as powerful and infuriating as ever, but it looks like you accidentally posted them to the wrong thread. This story was about Iraq and our inability to find WMD.

Agreed, though, we've got to hunt down Bin Laden and bring him to justice.

" 1,400 - 400 = 1,000 "

Actually, it's probably 1,400 - 400 + 400 = 1,400 .

2 weeks ago a reservist Chemical Company from nearby Arlington Heights, Illinois was sent to Iraq ro join the search for WMD. I suspect they are not the only new arrivals to be taking up this task. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for the Irish Times to find out, but "finding out and reporting the the facts" is not in the job description of today's so-called "reporters."
