I work for a company that makes several parts for the shuttle.
Although we did not manufacture anything for the rover, it sure would be cool to look at one of these pictures and say, "See that part? I made it. And it's on the surface of another planet!!"

Just noticed what look like bumps in the sand leading to where the craft landed...must be where it bounced before rolling to a stop. Fascinating stuff!
