MSNBC is reporting it was a 737

Hold your head up high-CTC is where you get the real news. LOL ;-)

Flash Airlines doesn't operate any Boeing 727's. Her passenger fleet is composed of Boeing 737-3Q8's unless she has some 727's on lease.

Well before there was any sign of EgyptAir 990's wreckage out of Kennedy Airport, Clinton released a statement the night it disappeared claiming it had crashed and no terrorism was involved.
Yeah... Allah is great all right.

Actually, before you get all fired up, planes do crash, on their own. Especially charter airlines in poor countries. It happens, all the time, the odds are overwhelmingly in favor of this being like the 99.97% of airline crashes that are due to poor maintenance, pilot error, or weather.
I'm sure anything pointing to terrorism will be quashed by the french gov.
then again, I flew on a eqypt air 747 from Luxor to cairo and it was one hell of a wild ride.

Yes, planes crash all the time...
But with the proliferation of shoulder launched SAMs and RPGs ... Who knows, it's a brave new world. :/

Well, some people on this forum seem think every airliner crash is caused either terrorism or it is shot down by the U.S. military.

my first question: was there a whitewater witness/clinton enemy on board?

How long before the press makes this Bush's fault? How long before Howard Dean says this incident "proves" that nabbing Saddam has actually made the world a much more dangeous place?

Reading your post the vision off a train with people overloaded flashed in my head. Is 135 a big load for the type of aircraft... I wonder.

BBC update:
An Egyptian charter plane with about 141 passengers and crew has crashed after disappearing from radar screens, according to airport officials.
The plane, belonging to Flash Air, is reported to have crashed into the Red Sea, killing everyone on board.
It is believed most of the passengers were French tourists.
The aircraft took off early on Saturday morning from the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, Cairo airport officials said.
The Egyptian news agency Mena said the plane disappeared minutes after taking off.
Other reports quoted aviation officials as saying wreckage had been spotted in the sea.
Aviation officials in Cairo said the crash was probably an accident.
A UK Government spokesman told the BBC that the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, was safe and well. He has been on a family holiday in the Sharm -el -Sheikh area since before Christmas.

Sorry for the large map...
It went down in the Red Sea by Sharm Ash Shaykh (look how close Saudi Arabia is to the area)
To: Gorons
FOX News just added that there were reports of heavy fog in the area.

This is true. Then we have them go down over LI losing engines and tail sections yet the government doesn't ground them for inspections.

Well before there was any sign of EgyptAir 990's wreckage out of Kennedy Airport I thought about that flight when this was reported
FNC is now reporting there has been heavy fog there in the last few days .. but not sure if this was what caused the crash
