"The RINO solution to illegal immigration is always another amnesty

Ronald Reagan, RINO extraordinaire."

===

The major problem is border security. The reason amnesty is not considered a solution, by itself, is that if the borders are still open, it encourages more people to come. But if amnesty is combined with highly secured borders, it would work, and would be beneficial, because now the illegals would become part of the system, pay taxes, etc., but more of them could not come in.

Reagan was a realistic person, and so is Bush.

All those who scream about illegal immigration, have NO solution as to what to do with those who have been in this country for many years illegally.

Unfortunately, those who do the screaming appear to be refusing to live in reality.Seriously,no solutions really, no acknowledement that that bottle has been long uncorked, nor do the solutions offered have any basis in reality,at all.
Well, much better to whine ,pontificate and attack,

Your claim was that the sales taxes that an illegal pays offsets the income taxes he does not plus the social welfare he illegally sucks up.

I challenge you to show me the post where I ever made such a claim. You can't.

I claimed that they paid taxes, and because they are working they are productive members of society which is more than we can say for many natural born citizens.

Ok, we've got your Democrat in a Republican suit in power for the last 3 years and he has a Republican Congress, list all of his Conservative accomplishments.

I can't think of any.

I vote for a return to gridlock before he adds another $1 trillion dollars to the federal debt.

You can't blame all of the additional amnesties Bush has proposed on Ronald Reagan. Reagan agreed to one, last amnesty.

It's not Ronald Reagan's fault that the whole Bush family doesn't know the meaning of the word one.

There have been some conservative gains from the Bush Jr. presidency, such as opting out of Kyoto and the Intl. Criminal Court, and the signature on PBA. Scrapping the ABM ban and moving forward with missile defense was good. Also, the judicical appointments, even with the blocked judges, are better on the whole, than they would be under a Rat administration.

That said, this administration's gross failure to clamp down on the legal and illegal immigration flows threatening this country, is inexcusable, particularly, when they had carte blanche after 9-11 to clean the mess up. Bush's recent signals that he wants to actually worsen the immigration mess with an overt amnesty (atop his stealth "matricula" amnesty), may even make me agree that Dean-Congress gridlock would be preferable in some ways to four more Bush years.

"Please pass the earplugs."

I don't mean to offend you, but you'll still be able to see your screen after you put earplugs in your ears.

This may come as a huge shock to a Bushbot, but you see with your eyes and hear with your ears.

In other words, if you don't want to see our written comments anymore you'll need to put your blinders on.

To coin a Bushism, "Make no mistake about it!" earplugs will not affect your vision one way or another, Swifty.

No, I'm sure of it. Even a Bushbot's nervous system can't be wired up so that a pair of earplugs will affect their vision.

Although, maybe if said Bushbot's ears were so big that the earplugs forced their ears to lay across their eyes thereby obscurring their vision.

Could the Liberal/RINO wing of the Republican Party be creating some kind of new mutant RINO zombies with big floppy ears, through prohibited experiments involving human/elephant recombinant DNA cloning techniques, to do their Liberal bidding???!!

How many of you are there?!!

Come to think of it, Arnold Scwartzeneggar's ears do look kind of funny!

What a sinister, ghastly plot this is.

"Where's the tinfoil?"

LOL!

I'm glad you liked Sabertooth's They Will Deport Themselves. He did a good job on it.

I link to it every time one of these surrender monkeys claims that those of us that are against illegal immigration and Bush's amnesty plans never offer any other workable alternative plans for dealing with the illegal immigration mess that the RINOs and Liberal Democrats have made.

The Amnestytistas must have all been wearing their "earplugs" everytime we've asked them to read it in the past.

LOL!

How can anyone look at all of the Chicagoland area's surrounding suburbs (formerly suburbs) and say that legal and illegal immigration haven't been a major cause of Chicagoland's urban sprawl.

The word suburb is a misnomer for any of the quiet towns and farming communities that have been transformed into small cities by legal and illegal immigration in the Chicagoland area, now.

Look at Bolingbrook, Aurora, Desplaines, Buffalo Grove, etc.. What once were corn fields would now be considered urban areas in other parts of the country. They're all cities in their own right, now.

A friend recently told me that the last farmer in Desplaines sold his land, in the area of Rand and Golf roads, to a developer. He had stubbornly held out for decades in spite of the city that went up around him.

All of these little cities surrounding the big city of Chicago have seen their property taxes skyrocket in order to provide services to the families of legal and illegal immigrants.

Elderly, retired Americans have been forced to sell their family homes in these areas, because they can no longer afford to pay the skyrocketing real estate taxes that are necessary to support all of these new immigrants and their families.

The open-borders, one-worlder, pro-amnesty RINOs don't give a damn about the plight of these American citizens that have worked hard all of their lives and are now on a fixed income.

These new immigrants can afford the property taxes, because they live 20 to a house. They're turning single family homes into tenements in what used to be the suburbs of Chicago, too.

Considering Bush had the advantage of a Republican Congress that Ronald Reagan never had, that's a pittance of a list of accomplishments.

Bush's first 3 years have been squandered on the implementation of his mostly Liberal agenda.

If it's a choice between Bush or gridlock. I'll gladly choose gridlock.

Hey, that's two additional posts since I asked you to list all of Bush's Conservative accomplishments, you're so proud of, and you haven't come up with even one, yet.

You just hurl insults, personal attacks and name-call like a sissy Liberal.

Why am I not surprised, Carlo?

I think it's time that other groups who tend to vote as a block reassess things and decide for themselves, as you are doing.

I've never believed the BS about lockstep block voting and I don't think they can prove it by extrapolating their paltry exit polls.

It is, after all, a secret ballot.

I didn't;just pointed out that he signed one,and using that criteria, he's a RINO. Has this amnesty yet been signed? Have you written Congress or the White House about this?

"I didn't; I just pointed out that he signed one, and using that criteria, he's a RINO."

That's a stretch in logic even for a Bushbot.

Did Ronald Reagan propose the amnesty himself? Did Ronald Reagan then try to sneak it through behind the backs of the American voters, in the dead of night as a last minute addition to an unrelated bill?

That's the kind of sneaky Liberal behavior that we've come to expect from RINOs and Liberal Democrats.

Take a look at the last Defense spending appropriations bill and you'll find that the largest Naval training base in the world was gifted to the ingrates in Puerto Rico at the last minute instead of it being auctioned off to the highest bidder.

The only time Bush used the power of his Executive Order was to mandate that foreigners in our military be rushed to citizenship in 3 years instead of 5 years, at least that I know of.

Who cares, if their backgound checks are completed or not? Not Bush, that's for certain.

Ronald Reagan never did things like this to buy votes.

I love this one, the whiners were handed it back, UXOs and all, perfect..
Yeah I'm a Bush bot;you appear to be a death before victory type. We agree to disagree. You also need to think beyond your desire to see 80 years of incremental socialism changed in less than 3. Compromise does not make one a RINO or a sellout;it does make one a politician with a vast ,squishy middle electorate . How's President Pat Buchannan doing?
