Rush, like anyone who has been lied about in the media, simply wants to defend himself. But the media calls it "spin" -- such an objective and unbiased bunch.

Nobody who has a back problem, and has not been in trouble in 50 some years is going to jail on this. If they prosecute him, it is purely political, and he will win.
[Limbaugh spokeswoman Keven] Bellows said the records show that Limbaugh's addiction stemmed from his numerous medical problems, and they want them made public.
This is the first time I hear that Rush Limbaugh's team want to make his medical records public, if I'm reading this article correctly.

(No politician who would put me in jail for criticizing them will ever get my vote. Ever.)

Limbaugh has not been charged with a crime and repeatedly has denied being the target of Florida investigators probing a black-market painkiller ring. The search warrents suggest that Rush is being targeted. Not as some black market ring, but it appeared they were looking for evidence of Doctor Shopping.

If they prosecute him, it is purely political, and he will win. A jury would be comprised of Palm Beach voters. Now that's a scary thought.
Of course, they might vote not guilty even when they intended to vote guilty. It depends if the jury ballot is a butterfly ballot.

If they want to make his medical records public nobody is stopping them unless he is.

If Rush keeps up the job he's been doing since he got back, there will be no need for spin. He's rockin'

They don't get it. It is not the messenger, it is the message. Killing the messenger will only enrage those that are listening.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I guess they expect Limbaugh's staff, responsible for running a multi-million-dollar business enterprise, to just sit on their hands during all of this? Have such writers ever had a real job??????

If they want to make his medical records public nobody is stopping them unless he is. That's why I said "if I'm reading this article correctly."
There is something here that does not make sense. Actually, there are several sentences in the article that do not make sense, but what else can we expect from our journalists?

I'm glad Rush is expressing publicly my private sentiments about this judicial activism running amok

Jeez, if prosecutors in Jackson County, MO (Kansas City) would get that tough, we could clean up the streets and lock up a number of phony doctors - might even have to build a few new jails just to hold the guilty.

Rush said this morning that he will name Dr Dean as one of his doctors which should then bring those 'hidden' Dean files out into the open.
To: george wythe
Limbaugh has not been charged with a crime So what's the point of this article? Spin what? A non-event?
To: Always Right
Is "Doctor Shopping" illegal? I can't believe anyone would live in constant pain and not try to find any way to legally get the medication they needed. I asked before when this story broke, would anyone rather live in pain or be addicted to pain killers? I, for one, would take the addiction.

If they prosecute him, The DA is a big Democrat supporter. No bias here, aye? There's no doubt he's still mad Gore lost.
