This STILL goes on. The natural history museum was "cleansed" of any political patriarchy a few years back.

**In December 1898, Langley received a $50,000 contract from the War Department to design an airplane for military use.**
Damn how much would that be in today's money? Considering the cheapness of labor and materials I suspect some corruption in the awarding of the contract.
What did William McKinnley know and when did he know it?

Taking note of this dismal effort, the New York Times editorialized that it would take one million to 10 million years for man to develop an airplane. LOL! Boy, the Times has quite a track record, doesn't it?

Curtiss was a great innovator. Among other things, he replaced the Wrights' primitive wing-warping with true ailerons.

Detail shmetails...besides, I'm sure it was a blind paraplegic African-American lesbian vegetarian that actually conducted the first controlled flight. I'm gonna git me some o' that gub'mint grant money t' study up on it!

Everything we know is wrong! Or at least what they tell us...

I'm sure Halliburton was in on it, too!

Read about the Ezekial Airship. The Wrights didn't know they had competition from a Baptist preacher in East Texas, of all places! Each link below has a different story and pictures about this obscure aircraft.
