This sounds like an assassination attempt on the life of the President. The message was that after the attack, the U.S. would lose control of itself and it could not communicate with its' army. The President leads the country & is Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. Maybe that's why he didn't show up at the Crawford Coffee Shop as he usually does on New Years Eve. I hope the Secret Service is on its toes and protects our President.
