with a long track record of absolute accuracy Wow, you are even better than Rush Limbaugh, who only claims a 98% accuracy rate. At least you have the hubris bit down in running for office.

Thanks. Please let me know your reaction. Sorry, we seem to have cross-posted. I see you did answer part of my question.
Now, for the second part: Would you do these things by executive order, or law? If by law, how would you obtain the cooperation of Congress in passing these laws? I think it is fairly obvious that Congress has a vested interest in not passing this sort of law.

Torie, it's not even getting beat up, in my opinion. I hve the truth on my side, so I can;t "lose." I can only be ignored. But I will persist, because I can and because it's important.

Thank you for asking. IMHO what is neccessary is legislation that eliminate media profiteering, ie. it would prohibit those who "have long careers as journalists" from running for office.
BTW, in your long career as a journalist, you do know the difference between the word band and ban?
To: RepubMommy
Pardon me for asking, but how did this website come about? It seems to be made up of discontented and banned FReepers.

Well there you go, eh? Not bad for a novice. I'm all about the debate, not the outcome. Ideas are good. Silence is bad.

There's another option. He's stupid.
Well that maybe proven beyond a doubt but it's for sure he's came to this web site unaware of the owners intent in this coming election.....
Thus I am unwilling to allow Free Republic to be used to damage Bush or ANY of the Republicans chances, especially with fabricated leftist propaganda. For this, I am labeled a traitor to the conservative cause. So be it. Come hell or high water I'm sticking to my guns on this one. The Democrats are NOT going to be allowed to retake control of our government any time soon and that's a fact!

Are you NUTS? I am a journalist. The first amendment is sacred to me. That's the point. There is little if any free speech left in this country -- and you seem too oblivious to notice. It does not make me proud we are fellow Republicans.
To: Wait4Truth
I think that there are plenty of people upset with Pres. Bush.
From those who'se jobs are being outsourced to India (many of them small business owners) to those who can't stand the high spending, there are plenty of people who are not happy with Him.
