some kind of a DU nutcase? Always check the sign-up date in the profile of the poster in question before throwing around those kind of accusations. If they've been around longer than you and haven't yet been kicked off of the site, it's pretty safe to say they're not a DU disruptor.
And another thing -- keep your parody detector engaged at all times.

Yeah, only a dangerous freak would think this. I have that from a most reliable source! I am dead dog serious!
most everyone in here are great folks. There are a few to watch, but I wish to holy Hanna I had never even read this.
I think you get my drift.

Did anyone read post 17? Not only was this sarcasm, but HapaxLegamenon has apologized.
"I am sorry, but I thought everyone would know it was sarcasm. It is a parody. This is what the liberal media really wish would happen.

Now everybody can go ahead and flame me if you'd like. It won't bother me because I have to go now to prepare to speak at my uncle's funeral so at the moment I'm pretty flame-resistant.

Real satire is the hardest thing there is to pull of- that is why there are so few satirists in the world making a living.
You need to hang onto your day job...

Thank you
To: HapaxLegamenon
So, would you rather that the whole world knew in advance so that 600 troops plus the president would be ambushed and killed? Or was it best that 600 troops saw the president there (with much risk to himself) and had their morale boosted big time?. What a jerk you are.
To: capt. norm
It's also our enemy when it comes up with things like "A prove has been lunch."
To: HapaxLegamenon
This is a parody
Yes, it was obviously a parody, especially since there was no valid source (AP, Wash. Times, etc.). BUT, it should have been posted to chat, not news.

You are very welcome.
I thought it was funny, but then again my favorite sarcasm is the type which doesn't announce itself with big banners.

"that a prove has been lunch to determine which laws were broken"
Hmm. Let me think about THAT for awhile!

Hey, I thought we weren't supposed to quote the full text of editorials from the New York Times!!"
I got as far as your post with tears streaming down my face, and my wife hollering "what's wrong with you"?
After I read yours I got belly cramps.
Thanks a lot!

Boy, give me a break. I did not think everyone would take this so seriously. This is a parody. Perhaps I went too far, or perhaps you have better grammar in your local papers."
Don't worry about a thing, kid.
I think you have a hit on your hands. You're going be famous!

Are you hopped up on goof-ball son? I'm afraid he's hooped up on golfballs.
Proving once again, it doesn't take many words for people to misunderstand your intent in an online forum. I nominate this as the soon-to-be most misunderstood thread by normally intelligent people who are always looking to get upset about anything.
