He lied about his plans. A man would be a damned fool to announce ahead of time that he was flying over hostile territory in an airplane at a given period and landing at a known airport in an area infiltrated by guerillas. The trip would become a shooting gallary.
Does that make any sense?

Thanks, but I fear most posters here need a life. They take things too seriously."Well, be gentle. Their hearts are still in the right place, besides, it's still early in the day.
Stay well.

All your base are belong to us.
OK, I know it's old but it just seemed like the appropriate response to this piece of garbage.
To: HapaxLegamenon
Heck, even I recognized the dripping sarcasm, so I'm not sure what's wrong with everyone else's perceptions. Well done!

Thank you, but perhaps the use of "KC-Star Spelling" confused them.

A man[sitting POTUS] would be a damned fool to announce ahead of time that he was flying over hostile territory in an airplane at a given period and landing at a known airport in an area infiltrated by guerillas. The trip would become a shooting gallary. Most, in the press however, are frustrated that it didn't become one.

The sad thing is, it's not that far off what many of the sorry rat b*stards are writing. BTW, I did catch the parody aspect.

If you don't like Bush, just follow Hillary around. Simple thing for you to do. And not a problem for us.

Personally, I would have preferred a more original lead, such as "It was a dark and stormy night..."
To: HapaxLegamenon
Well, I thought it was funny. Without a "sarcasm" or "parody" tag it was hard to tell it wasn't real until I was nearly through it... because it
sounds like something the dems would do!!!
