Shhhhhh! She'll bury the story for sure if you explain it so that she understands that we all know that CNN couldn't - and wouldn't if they could - maintain security and make up their stories to fit their wishes!

It's even funnier seeing you sign up and immediately shoot for an argument using wet ammunition.
Must suck to be you.

"Lol! I guess I AM a Bushbot :-)"
Oh, me too. Lessee, I think it all started right after 9/11 and he immediately dispatched the American Armed Forces overseas and invaded Afghanistan and rolled the Taliban.
Then, it got worse for me (this was with a lot of help from Rummy; his one Pentagon briefing where he growled at a reporter, "It has always been the policy of the United States Government to find Osama Bin Laden, dead or alive. Preferably dead!"fell offa my chair at his boldness) after his "48 Hours" challenge to Hussein and his gang on international TV. Then he followed through.
Then, I really thought the USS Abraham tailhook landing was the absolute tops. How could he top that?
Then, Thanksgiving Day, 2003, and that trek overseas in the dark of night ("Hey, is that Air Force One?!" "Uh, no."), to just show up in Baghdad, "Looking for a warm meal."
And he's serving those people....
Well, shut my mouth! I ain't limiting him to nothing else, now!

To hell with CNN they have proven that their interests are not friendly to the interests of the USA. Ted Turner the founder of CNN is a committed internationalist and his news network shows that same slant even though he is no longer in control.

When we first got word that the ole Bag was heading to the war zone to plant her evil on the fine folks of the armed forces I was P.O.'d something fierce. Then came the news that Dubya upstaged her fat A$$ by doing something honorable and brave and I could not wipe the smile off my face all day.
Revenge is sweet, and a good ole butt kickin is fun to watch. Go Bush 2004!!

So that's where the much-missed Uncle Bill has gone? Thanks, CJ. PS haven't you been around here long enough to know that JR detests reposts, from other forums, made simply to continue personal feuds?

Lol, when George invaded Afghanistan, I knew things were going to be ok. This guy is the best president we've had since Reagan.
George Bush has balls and class! God bless him and his wonderful wife and family :-)
Speaking of class, let's hope Hillary smells the coffee and crawls back under her rock....

I'll bet you could have heard Hillery!'s screams for a hundred yards. GW bested her and the rest of the geniuses big time. She probably locked herself in a closet and shreiked for 30 minutes on-stop.
True, their blinding hatred and undestimation of GW hobbles them again and again. It's almost comical at times. And the sane public rejects them over and over, which frustrates them ever more, driving them to further acts of desperation and hysterics.
Iraq will probably settle down over the next nine months, and the economy will continue to improve. It will be interesting to see if Hitlery manages to scuttle Dean's campaign. Whether she runs or not, Dean will likely get the Dimo nod. Either way, she will have to sabotage him, either to take the Dimo slot or to ensure that GW wins in '04. He's too high-profile to end up in the shrubbery at Ft. Marcy Park, though.

It makes them look bad and the American public is seeing right through them. I certainly hope you are right, that the public is seeing right through them. As much as I would love to see the demise of the Demon Rat party, I always think back to 92, when the rats were supposedly dead in the water, and slick Willie still pulled it out. I have never taken the Rats lightly since. I know I also heard Rush say that the Rats get even crazier when they are out of power. He was right. They are all whacked out.

"I just wish our side would not continually bend over and take it without responding. But then again, our side has always done that, and always will."
I feel the same way. OTOH, GWB has consistently during his political life when he is campaigning taken just exactly that stance. Why, I ask myself? Because he has respect for the intelligence of the voter to discriminate between bullflop and sincere truth. It's worked for him in Texas. It worked for him nationally. Unfortunately for the Dims, GWB is not stoopid and neither are the voters, even though they bought Klintoon's garbage for two terms!

Salem I wnat you to check this out:
Here is the link to the message that follows: Click Here
"I think this was for the photographers to make new footage for the campaign ads. John Kerry, a rival, already used the flight suit footage on the aircraft carrier in an ad to ridicule Bush, so they needed new "hero" footage.
I think this was 75% campaigning and 25% doing the right thing, visiting the troops. However, reading about it today I was struck at 1) how incredibly stupid this visit was and 2) how cowardly this visit was. It was first mentioned to Bush by Andy Card, a senior aide, in October, so it wasn't even Bush's idea. Then Bush didn't want to go, he had too many securiity issues of his own. He even interviewed the pilot. He stated, "I was the most skeptical of all." - that he could get there safely. He was thinking up until 3 hours out of Baghdad that he'd call it off for safety issues...
There is even more in the thread, check it out.
