Limbaugh has lampooned and parodied liberals because they haven't lived up to his cannon of ethics.

Everyone knows that no one is perfect. But just because he hasn't railed specifically about drug abuse doesn't give him a pass. His "law abiding citizen" position replaces the drug issue.

I have deep respect for Christ and don't appreciate the reference.

Yes he does owe an apology. He let a lot of people down. I am not one who will become an apologist for someone when they are wrong.

Remember when the Dems did that with Clinton? No matter what he did, they were still out there defending him?

Have you forgotten how the Dems defended everything that Clinton did? Like you, they didn't think he had done anything to apologize for.

You can sit around and do the same thing if you want to. That's your right. But understand that you are behaving just like they did.

I have not heard him apologize. If he did so, I missed it. I did however see a disertation he had written at his website, in which he discusses at length "if" he should apologize, or not.

Its not that we stumble, it how we get up and continue strive for right!

I couldn't agree with you more. We need to strive for that which is *right*. In order to recover from a "stumble" you need to make amends. Look at all the stuff Clinton pulled, and Dems never felt he had done anything to apologize for, either.

I realize that my request for an apology is unpopular. But I am ready to rise to a higher standard than the Democrats did with Clinton.

He never let us down, We would not have GWB if he did not make a case for him.

I voted for GWB not because Rush endorsed him I voted because I paid attention to what GWB said and I felt his sincerity.

"What devastating effects?"

The most obvious would be Rush Limbaughs loss of hearing due to his drug abuse/addiction. A second effect would be the damage that the addiction and subsequent treatment have done to his reputation as a solid citizen. Rush fans will forgive him, but liberals will always attack him on the drug issue, and try to undermine his credibility from now on.
