I THOUGHT I heard Chuckie Schumer's smirking voice piping up there. But then the chair called on the Senator from Virginia. And I says to myself, "that ain't a Virginia accent......there." Warner up, Chuckie shut up. AH HA, it's almost as good as a senatorial ZOT.

Leni: I called my cable company this morning and asked that they ensure this is carried live. They told me they would call me back -- they did not. Ihave called them multiple times tonight, and received statement after statement as to why they are not carrying this. I'm very disappointed about that. So instead, I'm watching on-line at cspan.org; I too live in FL, and I will be writing to the news papers about how my cable company would prefer to bring me E! instead of the senate on this night.

By the way, Senator Durbin. If there aren't some people watching CSPAN from time to time, how in Hades do you think we can identify them by voice only?

Wish that Santorum was the Senate Majority Leader. Frist has spaghetti for a spine.

Is this going to continue until WE get our way? Otherwise, why is it being done?
It was scheduled for 30 hours as I understand it..... I think it was done to highlight the obstruction being used by the Dems in failure to allow an up/down vote on four nominees, placate the home folks by showing they are attempting to do something....... I've read where neither side thinks they will change the other's thinking with this at the end of the 30 hrs. So who knows what goes on and lurks behind their thinking....
