Saundra, I fully understand your concerns that Arnold may not be as far to the Right and will reach out more to Dems than you and many of us would want, but it's also wise for us to keep things in perspective. Along with many, many others across the political spectrum, naming Willie Brown to the transition team was a courtesy. So far, nearly all of Arnold's actual appointments to policy positions have been from the Right side of the political spectrum.
Please keep one thing firmly in mind: Hard Left Dems have a stranglehold on the California legislature. In this state, we have quite possibly the only true, bona fide Marxist legislative majority ever in U.S. history. Even as a moderate Republican, Schwarzenegger is still far to the Right of that crowd, yet he somehow has to figure out a way to work with them. Until and unless the California electorate figures out just how bad the legislature is and throws the Marxist bums out, THERE IS NO CHOICE except to figure out some way to work with them.
Trust me, I absolutely hate this situation. But what I hope will happen is that the focus of folks such as you and I will shift to trying to elect better people to the state assembly and senate. The governorship is not the be-all and end-all of our state government.

Let me set you straight on a few things that you seem to have misconstrued from my post.
Boy now they are complimenting you!!
No, it wasn't a compliment by any stretch of the imagination.
It just shows what type of immature, childish people they are!
And this string of insults says volumes about how immature and childish you are.
So they must revert to calling you a name!
By calling her narrow-minded, I wasn't calling her a name. You seemed to have missed this twice now. I was commenting on her post that she doesn't allow Liberal Democrats in her house. if that isn't the epitome of being narrow minded, I don't know what is. (BTW - your definition of narrow-minded is just flat out funny and wrong) If I wanted to call her a name, I would have done so.
Of course the people that call others narrow-minded can not debate they facts honestly nor can they accept that someone will reject their point of view. MCD
I can debate the issues. I can debate the facts honestly. And, believe it or not, I can accept the fact that people will not agree with me.
Your post, from top to bottom, is laughable. You accuse me of being the very thing you are! How funny is that!

You know it would be all to logical for these people that did vote for Arnold to write him a letter and tell them that they voted for him, and that they would appreciate if he would rethink this cabinet post. Mentioning that in the wake of the recent California fires, and the recent radical terrorism campaign that the ELF has initiated against the people of the State of California, that a person with less extreme views and a person that cares about maintaining the environment with reason, and allowing people to enjoy nature, may be more beneficial to the citizens of the State.
What I am really amazed at is they would rather defend his decision to appoint a radical environmental whacko, than maybe make a difference! MCD
