Felos paid 1/2 million dollars of Terri's money....did you HEAR THAT??

I can't speak for the Bible, but back in 1980, when I was working at NSA, my mom passed away. I put in for funeral leave (4 days) and was told they could not grant me funeral leave because my mom was NOT my "immediate family." I couldn't believe it!! They considered my husband my immediate family (which is crazy, cause I was 2 months away from being divorced from him!) I never did get over that!!

"Felos said the law allowing Bush to order her feeding tube reinserted is unconstitutional." The FL constitution gives the governor broad executive powers to act to protect persons, property, etc, It does not enemerate who these persons may be or what actions may be taken. Therefore, it is left to the chief executive's discretion.
These actions are not subject to judicial review .
If it is believed that he has abused his autgority, the FL constitution provides for both legislative and electoral remedies. The courts have no jurisdiction.
The legislature did not create the power for Bush to act. It merely defined a person in need and the remedy needed. It did not order Bush to act for they do not have that authority.
If there is something unconstitutional about this it is the fact that they made a definition that was solely the governors to make. That being the case, the only one who would have standing to challenge that would be Bush.
This order mandated that Terri be hydrated and nourished. It was incumbent on all hospital staff to take whatever action necessary to safely implement this order. That means if medical procedures of some kind were required to accomplish this they must be performed regardless of guardian protestations. Failure to do so is a criminal violation of the law In most states if a person dies during the commission of a felony, it is considered a homicide.

Felos paid 1/2 million dollars of Terri's money....did you HEAR THAT??Well, doesn't that make him Terri's attorney? Isn't there a conflict of interest if he represents MS too? Is there something to bring to the attention of the Florida Bar?

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING IN AMERICA.Reality check time.
I also can't believe 50 million pre-born babies, give or take a couple of million, have been chemically scalded to death, torn limb from limb, or had their brains sucked out by licensed physicians in the civilized USA since the USSC "found" a woman's "right" to choose death for her unborn child, but it actually happened none the less. Apparently that "right" had been somehow hidden away in the Constitution for the previous 175 years, but the 1973 court wasn't easily put off and doggedly perservered until they sniffed it out.
First it was abortion, now it's euthanasia. The culture of death marches on. Both the unborn, the severely disabled, (Mrs. Schiavo) and the very old are in danger of being exterminated in America today, all sacrificed on the altars of convenience, money, and irresponsible lifestyles.
You and I may have trouble believing these things are happening right here in River City, but a sobering reality check says they in fact are.

I feel so helpless sitting here in Fresno CA. Thank you for providing all of the contact information. This won't be over until Michael Shiavo and his evil twin are removed from Terri's life forever. They are vicious and evil. All Terri's parents want to do is love their daughter. May the Good Lord protect Terri and keep her safe - in Jesus' Name - Amen.

The Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities went to court last week to try to stop the starvation/dehydration so that they could investigate whether Terri was being abused.
None of this is secret. It has been reported in Florida too. Sun-Sentinel.com. I think you were at the vigil when it was reported.

Felos added it was "an absolute horrible tragedy for Terri Schiavo, literally being abducted from her deathbed and her death process."What a damnable ghoul! Can't someone get him a muzzle???

Keep in mind that Dr. Wolfson is NOT actually a medical doctor. He is a PhD who studies medical bureaucracy.

Yeah, how rude of Jeb, to snatch Terri from death's pretty little door....

..."Nowhere in the Bible does it say your parents and siblings are no longer your family"....
Sorry, but you are to leave your mother and father and cleave to your husband.
You have it reversed: "a man shall leave his mother and father and cleave unto his wife" (Genesis 2:24). Furthermore, it says leave his father and mother, not deny them. They are still family.
To: Piltdown_Woman
He doesn't need a muzzle. He needs a silver bullet.
To: texasbluebell
I know! Is this a good thing or a bad thing to have him a GAL?

"Could there be some organ blackmarketing going on?" You're not the first to suggest it.
"Could there be money on the table for a matching organ that's needed now and Terri's a match? Immediate cremation and who's to know."
Now, THAT would definitely add a new, sinister dimension to the story. Let's pray that it is just wild speculation. Given the leading characters though, I think nothing is morally beyond them. It is already known that Felos has a book in the works on Terri's story and is a big pro-death advocate who fancies himself with godlike powers, as per quotes posted from his previous book. Still, it is a bit too morbid to contemplate.....at this point. Besides, if there were toxicity in the organs from the dehydration process, wouldn't that render them useless to a potential recipient?

Try a Google News search for the name of the group. You'll find articles in the Miami Herald, Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel, and the St. Petersburg Times, among others.

This whole thing seems unethical, to say the least!

Keep in mind that Dr. Wolfson is NOT actually a medical doctor. He is a PhD who studies medical bureaucracy. That's actually a good thing, since it's the medical bureaucracy that needs to be kept in check in this case
