Bagnoni said airport police had little choice but to let the man continue on his flight because he didn't break any local or state laws and federal authorities had not requested that he be held.
Huh?

So, if I get "caught" with toe-nail clippers I will be detained until the feds arrive??
Lunacy.

The man told an airport police officer the knife was in his bag because he was going on a diving trip. He said the tool in his shoe was likely planted by friendsNice "friends."
He 's GOT to know knives aren't allowed on planes since 9/11, and what kind of "friend" would set him up with the Feds like that?
Sounds weird to me.

Nobody will ever be able to hijack another American plane with a knife. All they'll get is a serious ass kicking.
They should take their box cutters and go hijack a French plane.

But Bagnoni said he believed the man was likely trying to test securityEveryone that is caught will now claim they were just testing security.

Two questions:
Was his name LeRoy Brown?
Did they get the .32 out of his pocket?

Recruit Muslims who are not suicidal maniacs but who are willing to take action against Americans and Christians. Have them try to get through security with marginal weapons and then, when caught, SCREAM "Racial Profiling!!!" With a dozen of incidents a year, the Muslim terrorists operating freely in our country will either be able to fund future operations from their settlements with the EEOC on the racial profiling (America-Hater Berry and her friends are still involved) or move up to bigger and better weapons brought safely past airport security personnel forbidden to question terrorist looking guys.

I guess she could have thrown the balls of wool at the pilot

Why, that's just as bad as Islamofacist terrorism, because animals have rights too!! It's a good thing they stopped her. She's a very, very dangerous woman! (/S)

Lunacy. And not very likely to happen either because there are likely hundreds of such incidents every day where small items are taken from passengers.
Don't be surprised though, if a small fine is imposed for such things.....a lot like a parking ticket..... It could happen.

They were afraid she was going to knit an afghan...

The man, who was not immediately identified, Wanna bet his name is Mohammad, Achmed, Yusif, or has a 'bin' in it?
To: Tom Bombadil
That's what we need. More bureaucrats and more goons writing tickets for grandmothers with knitting needles and war heroes with the Medal of Honor. When will the lunacy end? There has not been, nor will there be a hijacking by a grandmother or a MOH war hero.

This sounds like a really opportune time to voice the mantra I've been using since shortly after 9/11:
Common sense has left the building. MM

She's a very, very dangerous woman! (/S)Concerned, Thank you for the info. on being politically correct. I don't know if my sister gives a damn about that, as she was married to a rodeo cowboy for 50 years. I will mention it to her, so she knows next time. Regards :>)
To: null and void
They were afraid she was going to knit an afghan...Look null, enough is enough, and I don't think it is proper for you to insinuate the Afgani's had anything to do with this war. Regards:>)
