Chosing Godly spouses is also good advice.

There are about 100 supporters there, right? Think they can fight through the police officers? Is that kind of mayhem called for?

(Well, I'd shoot the bastard so that the legal custody goes to her mother, even though I'd go to jail.)

Except it would have been done years ago if I was her father.

It's my understanding that Gov. Bush cannot overturn a court decision such as this. Ironically he can however, commute executions and sentences for convicted criminals.

If I were closer and able I'd help do it.

It's positively disgusting that people are sitting around helpless because "rules" say we have to watch a person starve to death in front of our eyes. Has the average person become that completely spineless and weak?

I know it is difficult for many...but I keep returning to my faith....that God is watching over his child...and His will be done...not ours.

I truly believe....that if God is not ready for her to come home, she will rally.

If God is ready for his child to come home, she will.

I pray that God touches the hearts of those that feel such bitterness and hatred.

A lot of tough choices here.

So it's unknown whether or not Terri wants to "live" like that?

I surely wouldn't, but how to convey that to loved ones in a living will that makes it clear what I consider to be artificial means.

Yes! I was wondering why Jeb couldn't stay this execution? The law needs to be changed if this is their brand of justice!

Do we all understand this is a test to see if we as a culture will stand for this? Right now it appears we shall allow them to murder someone already out of the womb. I find it very disturbing that this story is only being told on the internet, where conservatives rule, not on the nightly propaganda spew of the major media. Do you want to call a rescue in the true sense mayhem? So be it. The mayhem that will be unleashed on our culture if this stands will be far worse if we all stand by and do NOTHING.

If Bush has refused to intervene, then all bets are off. This is the kind of situation that civil disobedience is meant to address. Someone who can, should do whatever does the job. I just pray they do it soon and correctly.

I do not advocate violence, and from what I can tell, those at the vigil do not either. I haven't heard anyone from the Schindler camp express those thoughts, either.

State sanctioned homicide began with the legalization of abortion. This has just taken it to a new level.

I don't think that she has a colostomy in place, but rather a gastric tube - even so, I would be happy to assist with her care as well.

Seems we've had several such tests of late and failed them all, miserably.

I daresay none of us advocate violence. That's why we're worked up. Starving that woman to death is violence.
There's a difference between initiating force and defending a life with force.
No one should get hurt, but that leaves innumerable options.

That's just the ultimate cop out. God is watching over Terri, but he gave all men free agency. He let's us choose good or evil. Those that choose evil, and by that evil cause the death of another person, ARE NOT CARRYING OUT GOD'S WILL. That's insane. That's like saying the holocaust was what God wanted. He cares about us and wants us to choose the right. He allows men to choose, because if he forced us to always do the right, he would be implementing Satan's plan of force.

Speaking as a father of 5 daughters (and 3 sons), I wholeheartedly agree. I like your attitude.
