Homosexuals tend to use drugs more than heterosexuals. That might tend to skew the results.

"Hey Dave, ya suppose eye-blinking has sumthin' t' do with sexual orientation?"
"I dunno, let's get a gov'ment grant to find out."
"How big a sample size ya suppose we need?"
"Hows about 59? That sure oughta be enough to draw a definitive scientific conclusion. We ain't gonna get sumthin' funny if we have that many!"

Typical pro gay cooked research. Decide what result you want to arrive at, make sure the data you use skews the way you need it to and surprise the result you were looking for appears.

Lesbians, however, had a PPI of 33 percent, closer to the straight-man end of the spectrum, while gay men averaged 32 percent, slightly lower than that of straight men but not statistically significant.
In other words, the study does
NOT indicate that men are born homosexual.

Or just maybe, this is the way things really are?

It did work for women though.

Soo, the conclusion is: anyone who blinks is homo (sapiens?)

Do you have a fasination with articles that explain away homosexual lifestyles?
To: chance33_98
LOL. The girly-boy left will try anything to dismiss their own dysfunctional sexual behavior.
This guy is obsessed with sex, a looks quite gay himself, but I'm not sure.
If they are "born that way", they'd have found a gene for it, not an eye lash! ROTF.

Mr. Rahman is an applied psychologist trainer for teachers and parents at TECSN Model School, Dhaka. He writes extensively on the subject of child abuse, and is currently coordinating a national media campaign to make the public aware of the negative effects on children of punishment. His aim is to develope a national law to prohibit corporal punishment of children in Bangladesh.
I wonder if he knows migraine headache sufferers have the same problem with light. Sheeesh!
This group explains a recent spate of pop-psych, pop-sociology books that labour over simple arguments. Like Virginia Postrel's The Substance of Style, which spends 237 pages energetically convincing unnamed puritans that liking beautiful things is not bad for you. Like Barbara Annis's monumentally simple-minded guide to male-female office relations, Same Words, Different Language, which takes 256 pages to explain that people will get along if they are nice to each other.
Then there is Why Men Marry Some Women and Not Others by John Molloy, which explains that men have to really, really like you before they marry you.
And the most majestically idiotic of all self-help books published this season, Superflirt , by Tracey Cox, a lavishly illustrated guide to the most natural of human behaviours, which contains such wisdom as "Our hands are one of the most expressive parts of our bodies."
I cannot imagine the audience for any of these books, aside from extraterrestrials.

It did work for women though.
The article didn't say if there was a statistical difference for women.

In the heterosexual women, the PPI averaged 13 percent and, in heterosexual men, 40 percent. Lesbians, however, had a PPI of 33 percent, closer to the straight-man end of the spectrum, while gay men averaged 32 percent, slightly lower than that of straight men but not statistically significant.
It is apparent that it is.

Not at all. The fact there is a 20 percent gap between female homosexuals and female heterosexuals in no way indicates a statistical difference. The author needs to report the standard deviation (no pun) between the two populations, or at least indicate whether the SD is significant.
As written, the numbers are meaningless.

No, I post a wide range of articles. Just depends on what I come across while out surfing. It is interesting to see the varied theories people come up with though - and one wonders how much they make coming up with them.

In other words, the study does NOT indicate that men are born homosexual. Yeh, but it sure makes good fodder for the left wing propagandist.
Now they can claim homosexuals were born that way, "because some guy said so".
Migraine sufferers do the same thing to bright light. The "blue headlights " often found on automobiles even sets them off.
That PROOVES all those who get migraine headaches are born gay. They might just as well come out of the closet now. They've been busted! LOL.
