Your post is the only one that addresses the reality that Hussein didn’t win “by fewer votes than his first election” but by rampant electoral fraud in Marxocrat controlled urban centers. And Trump and the GOPe better get on this known problem because we can expect to see electoral fraud on an unprecedented scale in 2020.
I’ll never forget the images that came out of the post-election meetings between Hussein and Willard as the RINOs negotiated their pre-planned acceptance of Willard’s “gentlemanly” loss to Hussein and caved on letting the electoral fraud go unchallenged. It was a spectacle of degenerate cowardice that proved beyond a doubt that the GOPe took the fall and were pleased as punch that their preferred globohomo candidate of the Uniparty won, in accordance with their weasel plan.
Good point, and as I have argued for 3 years, the rallies also allow Trump to do an “end run” around national media by getting local media that is more or less committed to airing some of it without much additional commentary to wide swaths of markets.
Exactly. It is one of the reasons I love in Trump’s Twitter usage, is that he forklifts his message completely out of the Media...which drives them absolutely up the wall!
For years, they have enjoyed the advantage of being able to filter the words and meanings of politicians to suit their needs, and President Trump just...bypasses that.
Sure, he can be crass, intemperate, and inaccurate, but the tradeoff, in my mind, even when it doesn’t make me laugh...is well worth it!

Obama won in 2008 because of anger at the Republicans and because he was the last man standing that didn’t have Clinton in its Name.
In 2008, there was a large anti-Clinton wing of the Democratic party... Obama being a virtual nobody, just bided his time and laid low, spoke meaningless drivel that sounded good, but offered nothing... and let the public paint whatever they wanted on him.... So as the the last of the Anti-Clinton candidates, he enjoyed the nomination.
Add to this the other obvious thing, Obama was melaninated, and you had the black vote locked up... which is an absolute requirement for the Democratic nomination.. If you don’t win the black voters in the nomination process as a Democrat, you don’t get the nomination.
Then in the general, the GOP had no chance, a less than exciting candidate... a LOT of anger at the Bush years, meant no GOP would likely win.. Only Sarah Palin breathed ANY life into the McCain campaign at all.
History also was against the GOP even without the anger, rarely does a party get a 3rd term in the modern era.
It never hurts to have grass roots activism, but if you think Trump isn’t on the ground, you are crazy. Get outside the metro areas, and you’ll see support for Trump I have NEVER seen for ANYONE even Obama before... People proudly buying and displaying Trump support not only going into the election cycle, but since the original primary battles...
Yes in the cities you don’t see it.. and yes Obama got a lot of push during and immediately after, but NOTHING like what you see the minute you get out into “God’s Country”.
Its a very STARK dichotomy between the larger cities and the more rural. In the cities the insane rabid leftists attack anyone who won’t tow their line... so folks who support Trump just quietly do so, rather than have to live day in and day out with nutters screaming at them... Once you get away from those islands you see Support on the ground like NOTHING I have seen in my life. I’m just shy of 50, and I can’t recall a time where I saw more open and enthusiastic support for a President across such a wide area....
The more the media and the urban elites try to make Trump the devil, the more those not under their thumb, dig in, and give them the finger.
Trump is more than Trump, and I’ve said that from the start, and its something the left wingers just don’t grasp. Like Obama was, at least in some of his supporters minds, more than OBama, he was every black man... Trump is American, America First, he’s unapologetically patriotic, and you aren’t going to win those voters back by tearing down America and Americans... which is what the left does....
You can bad mouth Trump and his supporters all you like, and that will get you a pop from the same left wing communists... but it won’t get you one vote outside them... and most people are going to Vote America over Globalism/Socialism/Communism.
Democrats think because what they sell gets them a crowd on a college campus that it means they have the majority, when in fact they are way behind the curve.
Trump is on the path to re-election by the largest margin since 1984. Democrats high water mark is about 15 states and DC no matter WHO they nominate... and the more whackadoo their nominee is the lower that max becomes.... They could wind up in a situation where they don’t even hit double digits.
2020 is lining up to being a repeat of 1972 in terms of its political dynamics, with a 1984 economy at its back... There is ZERO shot for the Democrats, short of an economic collapse before the election or another black swan event. The ONLY question going into 2020 is just how long Trumps coat tails are going to be. Will the GOPe shoot itself in the foot, or will it come to terms that its been out of sync with the electorate for around 3 decades?
Obama was a trained community organizer - trained with the Alinsky methods AND under the tutelage of Chicago Communists. Of course he could organize... that was his strongest skill... winning - for himself - and only for himself... The democrat party was decimated under his terms. Same as it will be under Warren or Sanders.
