So, what happens in the Campaign, and around here, if Rubio wins, or finishes a strong 2nd, in Iowa Monday?

If Rubio wins Iowa ...
The whole race would reset and it would be a epic slug fest till the convention.
But, I have a hard time seeing that happen.
What is FAR more likely to happen... Rubio comes in a surprise 2nd... and it’s covered in such a way that he might as well have won it.
At which point... the whole race is reset and it’s a epic slug fest all the way to the convention.

According to polling a plurality of Iowa voters are either undecided or soft in their support for any candidate. Its only once every four years that candidates and their huge teams and the media crawl all over Iowa throwing money all over the place. Once the election is over, they're never heard from again... until 4 years later.
I guess it makes sense to pretend that you're undecided, all the way up until primary/caucus day... that way you can keep the politicians and media there fawning all over you for as long as possible.

It is a shame that two small states like Iowa and New Hampshire get to carry so much weight in picking the nominee! Why can there not be a national primary election where all states vote on the same day!
