Trump is the gaffe machine who is running for president, Cruz to my knowledge has committed, no lie, no mischaracterization, no gaffe and never departed from strong conservative principles. When Cruz supporters run for president perhaps your rejoinder would have some relevance.

It is Ted Cruz, not his supporters, who is running.

Since he didn’t actually say what you think he said it is a lie and a mischaracterization.

The point is that can change in and instant and you can do nothing about it. Poof, your rights are gone, no court, no trial, no way to get off the list.
