I’m just saying.
I have been 100% for Trump since quite early. Very much so. I have been advocating for him right here.
But I just want to go on record as saying if he really supports this, I may change my support.
For real.
No blush. Gun restrictions are always unreasonable. Your slip is showing.
He said he will only consider the move.... so shame on Trumpians for attacking Rubio who makes some good points, given that after consideration, Trump could agree with Rubio. Shame on the haters, Trump doesn't have a position yet....
Everybody should be armed. It would be more polite.
No terrorist yet has been on the no-fly list. If you had a list of all Muslims in the USA...how many would have been in that list? All if them! Gov gets approval for banning guns to people in ANY list and the bureaucrats decide who goes on the list and it becomes a no-gun list. This us VERY dangerous for the 2nd amendment!!! Stop it now!
If Trump didn’t own his aircraft and had to fly commercial, I figure the TSA would have him on the “no fly list,” just like they have put the names of several Republican congressmen and conservative columnist Stephen Hayes.
“”The majority of the people on the no-fly list are often times people that just basically have the same name as somebody else who doesn’t belong on the no-fly list.”
So the government is admitting their incompetence?
Fix the list then, it sounds worthless. Especially since Pakistani terrorists are allowed to fly, no problem.
If the no-fly list was what it should be - people that are so potentially dangerous that they can’t be trusted not to bring down an airplane, then they shouldn’t have guns either.
I imagine Trump was thinking the same way.
I didn’t think the government would admit to being so incredibly incompetent that they are using a list that only causes trouble for innocent people.
Isn’t it interesting that the exact number reported was 72.
Now, where did I hear that number used for something else...
(Not serious, but interesting to me.)
I saw the interview.
When asked the question, he said he would LOOK AT IT.
Nothing more, nothing less.
You Cruz (M2T) supporters love jumping on any little perceived issue with Trump and take it to the extreme.
Well said.
:)
If Democrats can politicize the IRS, they can politicize the No Fly List.
No thanks to what? I wasn't promoting it.
That horse left the barn while Bush was president.
Yeah, no kidding!
I dont know enough about it; but wouldn’t existing checks already pick something like this up?
However what about innocent people on the list; do they have recourse to get their names removed?
That's for sure.
The Congressional No-Fly ListSen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA), 2004:
U.S. Sen. Edward M. "Ted' Kennedy said yesterday that he was stopped and questioned at airports on the East Coast five times in March because his name appeared on the government's secret "no-fly" list. [Federal air security officials] acknowledged being embarrassed that it took the senator and his staff more than three weeks to get his name removed.
Rep. John D. Lewis (D-GA), 2004:
Rep. John Lewis, D - Georgia, a nine-term congressman famous for his civil rights work with the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., has been stopped 35 to 40 times over the past year, his office said ... Lewis contacted the Department of Transportation, the Department of Homeland Security and executives at various airlines in a so-far fruitless effort to get his name off the list, said spokeswoman Brenda Jones.
Rep. Don Young (R-AK), 2004:
Rep. Donald E. Young (R-Alaska), said he was flagged on the "watch list" when the airline computer system mistook him for a man on the list named Donald Lee Young.
Such a candidate is Ted Cruz who has never committed a gaffe to my knowledge, never put a foot down wrong, and is right on all the issues.
The problem with Donald Trump is illustrated by today's gaffe: he is simply not a conservative, he is a narcissist who operates out of the ego not out of fidelity to the Constitution or to conservative principles. If he is off the reservation on the campaign trail, imagine his departure from conservatism if he gains the Oval Office.
I can't wait to hear tomorrow's gaffe.
