I think you’re on to something but let’s not give them a bill they can crumble up and throw in the waste basket.

How about we impose a tariff, or tax if you will, on all goods coming into the country from Mexico, and call it “Immigrant Support Payment”. Say 25% of every tomato, avocado, barrel of oil, manufactured item, like new Ford automobiles, etc., etc., based simply on the humanitarian effort to support destitute Mexicans in this country. Also, we need to charge a 50% tax, same justification, on ever dollar electronically transferred fro the United States to Mexico.

I hear you! We looked after Mom until her resources dwindled, then applied for a VA Pension to keep her living with a little dignity. When she finally needed full-time nursing home care, we navigated the Medicade maze to get her approved. She passed away two weeks after we filed and was finally approved another six weeks after that.

Along the way, we saw people who were obviously far better off financially gaming the system.

I remember when Russians poured into my area in the 80s. Some were elderly and because they were considered refugees they got all of the senior housing. WWII vets who were on the list were kicked aside.The younger ones,also considered refugees,got all of the subsidized and Section 8 housing.

I want the flat tax if for no other reason than to get rid of the ridiculous 7,000 page tax code we have now. There is no reason in the world why anyone should have to hire an “expert” to do their taxes every year, or buy new software, or spend hours and hours doing it themselves. I remember listening to a black American radio host named Terry Anderson, (since passed away.) He said he brought his elderly mother to the doctor and the doctor told her, “The cost of your medication” (which this elderly lady needed to stay alive,) “has gone up to $800 a month.” Terry said he was in tears. Neither he nor his mother could afford that. Terry asked the nurse, “What if my mother was an illegal alien?” The nurse said, “Oh, in that case, we’d not only give her the medication for free, but we’d FedEx it overnight to her house.”

We’ve all heard the horror stories. The American people are LIVID about this. It’s the reason Trump gets five-minute standing ovations whenever he says we have to stop illegal immigration. If we don’t solve this problem, this country is THROUGH. Nothing else even matters right now. It affects everything else. We have to stop cowering at the “R” word and do what needs to be done. No squeamishness, no apologies. Boot them out. They broke in, they’ve got to go, end of story.

A search of Borrego’s possessions turned up a fake Social Security card, resulting in a felony charge for tampering with government documents.

I have a hard time believing this. Back in the 1990s I was a Border Patrol Agent working in Fresno, CA. I arrested thousands of illegal aliens and virtually every one had a counterfeit SS card and fake immigration card. They were being sold at the swap meet for $15 bucks.

Prosecution for document fraud? Are you kidding me. The US Attorney would have laughed in my face if I presented such a case.

Once I arrested a group of 5 illegals working the fields. They all had counterfeit SS and immigration cards. So I took them to the labor contractors office to make sure they got paid and I asked to see the Form I-9 for each of them. Sure enough each had used their fake docks to fill out the I-9 and under penalty of perjury signed the form.

So I had them on about 5 felonies each. I talked to the US Attorney and he agreed to present the case.

At the initial appearance the US Magistrate listened to our presentation and got a funny look on his face and said:

"I guess it must be a slow day at the US attorneys office". <>The case was dropped and I got the message to never present another one like that.

Sorry for the rant but the fed gov has never taken doc fraud seriously when it comes to immigration.

Democrats don't care if they destroy the county...or the people who live here. These 'immigrants/illegals' are 'money in the bank' for them - they'll keep their corrupt little behinds in power for generations.
