I won’t give Trumpna spin. I don’t vote for liberal Democrats. You know, another successful billionaire says he isna Republican- Michael Bloomburg. You probably would give him a spin too.

And I have answered that question in detail and so has Trump.
He also gave to Repubs. It wasn't always for ideology, but predominantly a business expense to keep the politicians who work in government off his back.
:’)
Whoops! And thanks bigheadfred!
“He also gave to Repubs. It wasn’t always for ideology, but predominantly a business expense to keep the politicians who work in government off his back.’
Right, bought any bridges lately?
I'm right, and you're ignorance is showing.
Trump gave to George W. Bush and Newt Gingrich as to the more notable Republicans . From a business point of view, giving more to Rats make sense since they are the anti-capitalists.
And on Friday, Trump gave a $100,000 donation to Rush Limbaugh's blood cancer drive, which is about 15 times more than he ever gave to most notable DemRat at one time. Like I said on this thread, Political donations are chump change to Trump.
Well said!
Speaking of Reagan, I didn’t pay any attention to politics in college, but, BY DAMN, I started paying attention to Reagan-—Guess when?
He was on TV, giving a speech and some woman in the crowd was asking him questions over his speech. She wouldn’t shut up. He interrupted his speech to address her question. He finally had to say to her, and I quote:
“If you would shut up, I’ll ANSWER your question.”
LOVED the man ever since.
THIS is what is lacking in present republican candidates that are too concerned with PC and the media’s opinion of them.
THIS is what Trump has going for him. He doesn’t take crap.
Trump loves America because he’s been made a billionaire BY America. He needs to shine the light on the cockroach Little Stevie Dunham, because NO ONE ELSE is doing it.
If he gets into the White House and he disappoints you-—VOTE HIM OUT in 4 years.
We HAVE to get Little Stevie Dunham THE HELL out of OUR house....and out of our country.
The guy leading his “campaign” is a democrat and voted for Obama in 2008.
And Karl Rove says he’s a Tea Party member. LoL. Trump is doing good things. So driftdiver, who are you shilling for?
“and not afraid of a fight”
I’m not even sure that’s true. He has a big mouth but behind the scenes he is giving big bucks to Rahm Emanuel and other lefties to avoid taking them on.
“you give contributions to every politico Dick and Jane who might cause your business problems”
Just the example of fearlessness , “gonads,” we need.
Talk is cheap.
Why would I believe he would not appease dictators when as a businessman he appeased leftist candidates?
“And Karl Rove says hes a Tea Party member. LoL. Trump is doing good things. So driftdiver, who are you shilling for?”
Well Romney is the only one who’s officially announced he might be running. I sure as heck aint for him.
We’ll see who is able to get their act together. The real work will be during the primaries so we arent faced with another Hobsons choice.
I’m getting involved with the local GOP committee and hope to have a small positive influence.
Interesting and thought provoking article, bhfred. Thanks.
Don’t be a Trump Chump!
And, Obama has stated he is for a middle class tax cut.
To be clear, I'm not supporting Trump, although I'm thoroughly entertained by his antics and I think he's showing prospective GOP candidates a narrative for success. But...
..you can't do business in big city America as a real estate developer and NOT bow down to the Golden Calf that is the big city Dem political machine. NYC, Atlantic City and Chicago are all controlled by the Dems. You can't build a lemonade stand in those cities without the "right" campaign contributions. It's not a political statement for Trump, it's a cost of doing business. That's just the practical reality.
