And why did Trump support Harry Reid against the TEA party in 2010? Will Reid support Trump?

I must say, your post makes a lot of sense and I don’t disagree.

If Trump had done this three and a half years ago, I would have gone a lot easier on him.

I agree, but at the same time, whom do we have within our ranks that has the megaphone and the stones necessary to eviscerate Obama like he’s been doing the last few weeks? He has been calling him out like no one I’ve ever seen before.

I guess you haven't been paying attention...

I agree. I have my doubts that he doesn’t have a BC, but he is such a con artist otherwise, I wouldn’t be my life on it.

There are a few outcomes here: 1) Obama never presents it, either because he can’t or won’t, 2) He presents it and it’s legit - Trump is finished, 3) He presents it, and it’s legit but it has his name as Barry Soetoro or that he’s a Muslim or something so controversial it would eclipse the storyline that he’s natural born.

The one other scenario that could possibly backfire is if Obama withholds it until a state like AZ requires him to produce in order to get on the ballot. He would have to, at that point. If Trump is the nominee, say hello President Obama for another 4 years.

“I don’t think he will be president of the USA , but not because he couldn’t be . Certainly not because we say he couldn’t be.”

Learn this, buddy: if the tea party doesn’t want Trump to be president, he will not be president.

“If he ends up triumphing on this issue he deserves to be elected president.”

This is a lie (rhetorically speaking).

If Trump were somehow, in a strange, twisted fantasy elected president, he would then proceed to surround himself with clones of Hillary and John Kerry so that the policies of Hillary and Kerry could then take place.

No, Trump would need to do a whole lot more, a lot more than he can manage, to deserve the presidency.

Has she been calling him out for not presenting his BC? No.

Also, I hate to say it, but the fact that Trump has historically been all over the map politically is an asset here. It’s impossible for the media to label him a right-wing crank, as they would for anyone else demanding answers about his birth, and Trump is impossible to ignore. You now have a political outsider demanding his BC - this is a huge problem for Obama. It’s getting legs.

But, say the electoral votes would have gone to a Republican anyhow, and being on the ballot in said red state is not necessary to win. Would there even be enough lead time given to know something is amiss prior to seeing said ballot.

Some clown here posted a retort to me the day before yesterday, to the effect that Trump has never been involved in any bankruptcies.

FR is abound with idiots these days. Maybe it's his hair that mesmerizes them.

He would HAVE to. I don’t see any way he would withhold his BC if it was only, say, Texas that passed the BC requirement law. He wouldn’t have a shot in hell of winning the state anyway, but it would be politically untenable for him to disenfranchise a whole state’s worth of democrats because of his obstinance.

Furthermore, how would the media be able to spin that? That taking his name off a ballot in a whole state isn’t reason enough to show his birth certificate? He would lose the election on that. Lastly, AZ is a state he could conceivably win, although unlikely. They did elect Big Sis governor.

"Instead, I’d like to know why Trump supported government-run universal healthcare, up until he decided to ride the tea party wave. And why he supported anti-Constitution politicians (Hillary and John Kerry) for president."

That is a good question.

I’m still scratching my head – this thread has turned into who should be
president instead of challenging Obama’s legitimacy.

"That said, his political track record is such that maybe it’s best he doesn’t win the nomination, and we win with someone else with his help in pointing to the fact our emperor is, in fact, naked."

That is what I was thinking.

“Maybe it’s his hair that mesmerizes them.”

That could very well explain it.
