From the horse's mouth so to speak
More evidence of the lie pushed by the radical homosexuals and pushed by the media, including some "conservatives" that "homosexual are born that way"

"I was in love with another man who was going to be my partner for life, until a Christian woman showed up at my door one day with a Bible and said that I could be set free from my homosexuality. That was back in 1990 and my life has never been the same again."

I have a mean-spirited question (Hey, I can't help it! I was born mean-spirited and every year I live just reinforces it!). The mean-spirited question is: Why are there so many women eager to "rescue" some man with a problem -- they'll reject or dump a normal guy who doesn't have any, uh, "problems" and they will run to "save" some guy who has a drug or alcohol problem, can't keep a job (money problems), has a whole closet of sexual identity problems, or is abusive. I have worked very hard for a good career and a stable, secure life and I swear some women are turned off by that.

I'm happy for the guy that some beautiful woman just showed up one day on his doorstep and, uh, helped to "convert" him. I'm also thinking that I have usually had to work very hard for dates and here this guy is with "issues" and woman were beating a path to his door. Just damn!

I don't know if some people are born homosexual or not, but I do know that the more "alternative" sexuality and "morality" are pushed, the more they are considered "mainstream," entrapping people. Just as viewing porn on the web can become an addiction. There is a measurable push by extremists to entice the general population into "experimenting" and "being tolerant." I am very certain this accounts for some of the homosexual community "growth."

...the only thing I can say is I am living proof that there is no basis whatsoever for any type of legislation equating homosexuality with heterosexuality. These people need to realize that change is possible. Encouraging someone to continue in a lifestyle that is false, that is a deception, is not going to do them any good.

Homosexuals like to categorize their "orientation" as genetic, in attempt to manilpulate both the public and the church into accepting homosexaulity.

They claim they were born that way, "they can't help themselves". And therefore everybody must accept homosexuality.

Many people who are not familair with the true nature of sin and the state of man's heart actually fall for this nonsense.

This might work for the world, but should never work for Christians.

All of us are lost and our perceptions are distorted by sin, which is why we need to trust God's Word. Not our feelings and certainly not the testimony of men when it comes to moral behavior.

Christians however have no excuse for remaining in sinful behavior..let alone having the arrogance to call it a "gift from God".

In any case, nowhere does the Bible teach that having an "orientation" of any kind toward sin makes us an exception to God's laws. This applies to both Christian and non-believers.

Those who truly believe God's word on sin will never accept the "orientation" argument as justification for homosexual conduct.

And those who do so have much bigger problems than where they stand on homosexuality.
