Barnabas R. Miller, registered Republican, has been called for jury duty in Contra Costa County this month. There are two problems - Barnabas is only nine years old, and he's a poodle.
His owner, Donald Miller, wanted to point out holes in the voter registration system.

should read "I have never heard of it happening before," said Brian Baker(D), a senior deputy district attorney.
What's the big deal? It's just about sex.... oops, wrong perjury case... never mind... ;0)
Of course, they want to make it easy for themselves to commit fraud during an election. As far as the honor system - when is the last time a democrat has been accused of being honorable?

I think I will try this with my two cats. Well it could happen. Lest we forget "Smokes for Votes" in Milwaukee during the 2000 election, anything is possible. E. Michael McCaan (Milwaukee County District Attorney)would probably give my cats 20 years to life, but still has yet to prosecute a Marquette punk for using fake I.D.'s to vote over and over and over again (there's proof he did it, just no justice being inforced against a felony.)
P.S. You might want to crack open that closet door a bit. There's a fresh Republican breeze blowing through this state;)
