My read was that Hubble and this guy were there to run the department and "look out" for the godfather's interest. Remember that Reno was third choice. I know they wanted a woman and i believe she got the gig because of that and that alone. By putting her in they could say, look at our girl, and do anything they damn well pleased.

Webb Hubbell, then Jamie Gorelick, then Eric Holder — the Clintonistas always had a #2 at DOJ to control the puppet strings, make sure that Reno did not get out of line, make sure that information and decisions were pleasing to the WH.

Now Holder is supposed to be the new AG for the Obamanation administration? Why don’t they just appoint David Kendall or Bruce Lindsey as AG? Why is Obama in bed with the Clintons anyway?

The Holder nomination plus all of the other Clinton-era re-treads certainly makes it look that way...... normally one would expect a President-elect in Obama’s shoes to want to appoint a lot more people personally loyal to him for their career advancement — he’s going out of his way to bring back a lot of Clinton-era people. Sure does suggest that there are more fundamental powers at play in the Democrat Party than either the Clintons or the Obamas.... SOROS!!
