Well Good Gawd....what a Great Tribute....I am honored that you included my bro Doug "Wildman" Carey and I in it, representing the 27th Marines....Also I am honored that you link our CD cover to my website....Thanks fer givin the Freeper's a warning about the STRONG ADULT LANGUAGE AND GRAPHIC PHOTO'S on my site...It's just me and when I get emotional about something the letters go straight from my heart to the keys on the keyboard....We are now associated with the POW Network, a non profit organization that has been around for 13 years. Their job is busting Phoney "Wannabe" POW's and Phoney War Heroes...it's bad enuff livin with the memories of Vietnam, let alone havin some cheap sumbitch runnin around the Country claiming to be a Vietnam Vet War Hero or POW, when he wasn't even there...and dishonoring our Bro's and the sacrifices they made to keep them Free.....THANK YOU SNOW BUNNY, AND GOD BLESS YOU FOR BEING THERE BRO !! YEPPER, YER A BRO AND YA DESERVE THE TITLE !!! I think you would have kicked some serious AZZ if'n ya would o ever had to get in a fightin hole over in da Nam.....WELCOME HOME AND SEMPER FI !!!

I love the tribute, thank you soooooo much free republic. My dad is a Vietnam Vet and I'm a Vetran of Somalia and Desert Storm (Army Infantry 11BGV). I'm a paralyzed Veteran 32 years old injured on active duty Sept 6 2000. I was in Desert Storm, served in the 101st, 2ID, 4th ID, 1/506, and an instructer at the NCO Academy. I have a CIB, Aiborne wings, Air Assault Badge, and the saddest day of my life was when I was permanetly paralyzed from the chest down. I thank everyone here, the true Americans for the support our men and women in uniform. My web page if you care to visit and sign my guest book http://corlordesplace.homestead.com/index.html Thanks Corey aka corlorde

There is no emoticon for a silent salute, with a spirit humbled in the presence of true sacrifice. But then, there's no gesture adequate to that task either. So mere words will have to do.

Thank you.

Thanks to All vets who have served, especially the ones who came home to the disgusting actions of uniformed, communist, cowardly people.

I was lucky to have served in the peaceful 80's. I couldn't imagine having to suffer the horrors of war, then having to come home to the protests and the neglect of veterans by the US gov.

There is a retired U.S.M.C. Vietnam vet, who I work with. He has had prostate cancer for a year now and has chemo once a month. But the ole' leatherneck hardly ever misses work or asks for a lighter load. His toughness and dedication seems to be a common trait amongst the people of that generation.

Hey 68-69 Tonk, a special thanks to you, from a fellow Naval Gunner.

A parade, a hug and a big THANK YOU FOR SERVING to my brother-in-law, Mike, who served as a Marine in Nam, and was wounded in body and spirit there.

Thank you too, to all the FR Vets who served the cause their country and the cause of freedom!

Oh, Bunny, I can feel all the love you put into this thread and the posts. I want to thank you for sharing it with the rest of us, and to all the Viet Nam Vets, my own heartfelt apology for the way this country as a whole treated you when you returned. There should have been parades; you should have been hailed heros, for you fought for this country because you were asked to fight. You answered the call. Thank you.

Thank you, each and every one of you.
