Yes, it is because if those are the rules then they should be "fighting" China also.

Why is it so important for you to use China as a foil to argue for relations with Cuba?

Bush is being pressured by politicians (who are beinging pushed by Big business in their state) to give government backed loans so they can profit from the distribution of their product. They don't care who pays for it, the U.S. taxpayers, through higher costs to their customers or Castro (they know Castro's record so it is clear they don't expect the money to come from him). Well, I care and so should you. I don't think clearing out some bureaucratic red tape to help provide loans to small businessmen, is what we're talking about here.

I am convinced that there is good commie/bad commie school of thought that would gladly turn a blind eye to all the hypoctisy on this issue because they are Castro haters.
I am not saying he's a good guy but I am saying that it's embarrassing and hypocritical to take this position and it's based purely on emotion.
By the way he also is increasing pork by a large amount providing worker training and job placement.

That is your right. Might I say to your use of "Castro hater," that is a term used to discredit anti-communists, of which I am one.
