To: Donald Stone The FBI under Clinton/Reno became a murderous group of Civil Rights violating thugs, above the law. Granted there is a war on, but Bush has yet to clean up the Democrat Party stench at the entire Dept. of Justice. 4 posted on 3/2/02 2:26 PM Pacific by TheGoodDoc

Doc, you are so on target here. I am sick of reading about the corruption within the FBI. For ten years, we have had severe problems in the entire Dept. of Justice, and it damn well time for Conservatives to demand a clean-up.

The FBI appears to be a federal police force in the making, and that is something we do not want in the USA. The Soviets had a federal policia, and most authoritarian countries have a federal police force, as does mexico. We've seen how corrupt those agnecise have become. We don't want that here.

I think we need to find out the other 90% of this story which remains to be told (if it ever is).

My guess it was a negligent discharge piled atop terrible training and procedures.

/1/I hope the victim gets well paid (in millions of our tax dollars) to partially compensate him.

/2/ Even more, the FBI shooter should go to jail like you or I would. Only then will they learn to keep their fingers off the damn triggers!

/3/ Also, up line heads should roll: supervisors, instructors etc for passing such a goofball along through the pipeline until he was handed an M-4 rifle.

They will do /1/ and ignore /2/ and /3/ of course, and worse will happen next time.

"Free State" (?) Bump.

(The peasants must learn to stay out of the way of the royal carriages, clearly.)

From what I can see, the one and only lonely voice of honesty fighting the Clinton/Reno corrupted stench of the once proud Dept. of Justice, is Judicial Watch!

I sincerely hope some Fed doesn't make a 'mistake' with a firearm around one of your kids.

me too, thanks for caring. still doesnt make the logic leap from exception accidents or incompetent policing to wanting to triggerlock our law enforcement.

Would you just "Accept it was a mistake" and move on if it was your head and face, or that of your child?

Did I say that? No, I said I'd want to see the facts first. But it looks like incompetence. Yes, your italicized words are mine but taken out of context of what I said. So, since that is a common liberal and socialist tactic, I'll turn the tables in the same emotive manner that you did. Are you a liberal?

When someone attacks in a personal manner... you have done so TWICE now...I can only assume you cant formulate an argument. You're weak intellectually.

I have lurked on this thread - and would love to know what really happened.

This is ridiculous...if they cannot handle their toys I suggest they sell them to those of us who can.

If we are going to have a society of Shoguns, Samurais and Peasants, at least the Samurais should be competent.

Using judgement under duress is something you can only train for to a certain point. You never know how a person will react under "adrenaline conditions". It appears this guys was not cut out for it. He will likely be gone, or under permanent desk duty.

I live in Maryland. The Pasadena, Md area is hardly a rough area, but there is some subsidized apartments in the general area. Definately a "be careful area", but this appears to be an incompetent and negligent officer.
