That is the most fcked up discriminatory thing yet. These people should not judge one by his legitimate business or his legitimate skin color or what not. It is yet another effect of how language and "logical" statements are pre-programmed in this society at the expense of justice.
Frankly pal, they are intimidating you and destroying you as a an individual and equal witness to any Dell worker or representative lawyer, and they presume you guilty.
We need a major freep challenge indeed. And if what you say happens to be true, those criminals should be tried in a civil right court at the very least.
You don't think a sharp lawyer could make a case for reverse employment discrimination? (Discriminating against someone because of where they work.)
You -- or "they" -- might want to think about that one. The implications are IM-(IANAL)-O staggering if they make precedent protecting that form of discrimination.
"No, we don't rent to people who work at abortion clinics|gay bars|fill-in-the-blanks. Nothing personal, we just don't want to do business with people who do that kind of work."
Yes. The credibility of those of us who defend the right to keep and bear arms is increased if we act quickly and decisively to put a stop to such discrimination.
I will wait a few hours to hear more. If the problem has not been cleared up by then, I will send my own e-mail. I will also phone a gun-owning friend of mine who recently bought a Dell and describe this problem. Many reputable computer dealers have a no-questions asked return policy which is good for some period of time. Dell should not be surprised if my friend opts to return his computer if the report of their misbehavior is confirmed.
PC stands for Politically Correct or Personal Computer, and neither has anything to do with the other
This is starting to be a problem. I bought a Dell laptop on E-Bay,and it didn't have the sleeve or cord you need to run a CD ROM or floppy from. I called Dell to order these parts, and everything went fine until it came to the shipping. The dweeb I talked to refused to have it mailed to me,even though I was willing to pay extra. He said it would be FedEx,UPS,or Airborne Express, whoever was "next up" when it was shipped. I then requested Airborne Express, since they leave it at the post office if you aren't home. He wouldn't even guarantee this,or make a note requesting it. All this despite the fact I told him I might be traveling when it got here, and FedEx and UPS would return it if I wasn't here to sign. I finally got frustrated and told him to send it anyway, taking a chance on it coming Airborne Express. It didn't. It came Fed Ex while I was gone, and they sent it back to Dell. I STILL have a bleeping laptop I can't use, thanks to this idiot. Keep in mind that I had already bought 2 brand new Dells from Dell over the last 5-6 years, and had a customer number.
You would lose. He is a legimitate business, and well thought-of pistolsmith.
My HP works pretty good.
Maybe you or someone you know should give the URL to this thread to Michael Dell?
I won't buy HP because I've read that the Packard family donates all sorts of money to militant population control programs. I've got a nice Compaq, a nice workgroup-class Xerox printer, and some nice Epson equipment instead.
In liberal speek, yes. But as far as I am concerned Dell is free to refuse to deal with anybody for whatever reason. And I am free to take my business elsewhere until they explain their decision, which I told them in email. Regards.
