Laser of death rays can "carry out lethal and non lethal" purposes. What are the non-lethal attacks -- piercing sound, burning heat, blinding light?

Probably used at reduced power which would burn. Another non-lethal weapon being developed is a low power microwave, make it very uncomfortable to be in it's line of fire.

The False Prophet (second beast) who works in tandem with the AntiChrist (first beast) "makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men" (Rev13:13) "causing those on the earth to worship the AntiChrist" (Rev 13: 12) and to "take a mark", the number of the AntiChrist ,666 (Rev 13:16).

Could it be that laser and beam technology like described in this article ultimately finds its way into the hands of the False prophet and the AntiChrist and will be used to bring fire down on to earth as a fulfillment of Revelations 13:13?
