BTW, Debby Morse is, I believe, the wife of San Francisco Chronicle bloviator Rob Morse. When the Examiner printed the story about John Walker Lindh's father Frank Lindh leaving his family to go gay (he moved in with the gay owner of a gay bathhouse), poor Rob got his panties severely twisted. The Examiner had taken criticism of the poor Lindhs "to a new and disgusting level", he whined. Debby's spousal unit would seem to be more PC than a lot of gays are.

The "bloody" picture isn't meant to shock. It is meant to show a baby, a new life and what is being killed when an abortion is performed. It is not suggested that it is a photo of an abortion in process... Duh...

There are a couple of ugly remarks regarding anatomy and even rape, and a bunch of digs at San Francisco. A few people suggested it was time for another earthquake here. It was supposed to be funny, but it amounts to a wish for my death.

QUITE CHILLY were the remarks Examiner columnist Debby Morse directed at Noe Valley in a column Nov. 7. She allowed as how in San Francisco "each neighborhood has its walk....

"Take Noe Valley. Was there ever a place with more sense of entitlement? Liberal politics and every baby raised by the whole village add up to a very special kind of walk," wrote Morse. "Natural-fiber-wearing folks float slowly down the sidewalks of 24th Street, congregating outside coffeehouses and blocking the way, to the consternation of other walkers (from other neighborhoods, no doubt). Strings of them self-absorbedly ooze across intersections like a long-chain molecule, never giving waiting cars a chance to move through before yet another one of them steps into the crosswalk."

Well, okay, that might have the ring of truth, but then Debby takes it a step further: "Many Noe Valley walkers push babies in strollers, often using them as battering rams in crowded situations. Shockingly, these baby strollers are rolled out into crosswalks in front of oncoming cars, and the indignant parent then steps into the intersection with a look of outrage that the monster behind the wheel should have the despicable audacity to drive where there are children present."

Puh-leeze. Do you sense a little child envy? Oops, I didn't say that.

 

When I lived in the big city I saw this all the time. Young mothers pushing their baby strollers against a red light/do not cross light. Very stupid. What do they think they are teaching their young children? How to get to get run over by a car?

After reading "arguments" like that, I'm more dedicated than ever to wanting to keep my body private.

I also received an e-mail with a photo of a very mature fetus' arm protruding through -- what? -- a hole in a pregnant belly? A bloody image meant to shock. Turns out the same photo is posted on the FreeRepublic thread about my column, but the contributor, calling himself Revelation 911, confides that it's actually a picture of in-utero surgery and that the gestation went full-term. * * *

It is not meant to shock- The only shock is finally figuring out that this "fetus" clasping the Doctors hand is still young enough to be aborted. I consider it one of the greatest pictures of the 20th century.

Now lets address the hate thing. I ripped no child from its womb today. I injected to saline solution into my amniotic fluid today. I didnt half birth my baby and pierce its brain with scissors and suck its brain out today.

Instead, I worked with my Dad (my 18th year) honoring his dreams, called my Mom on the phone and reminded her I loved her, I bought my wife flowers, told her I loved her eternally and hugged my children repeatedly. I cared for thier fevers and cleaned up thier vomit and got them a fresh box of kleenex and cool ginger ale. We watched "Americas Funniest Videos" between spoonfuls of ice chips to bring down thier flu fevers. At the end of the day, my body wracked (sp) with pain from bronchitis, a sinus infection, and a headache, I slipped on my reading glasses & sought solace in my brand new paralell Bible that a kind FReeper suggested last week. Christs temptation in the desert by the evil one was the topic. This morning, I come to the conclusion the writer of "FreeRepugnant.com" has in an odd way faced the same tribulation as Christ and lost. She gave into the evil one for the dominion of her uterus, instead of honoring Gods commandments as Christ did in the desert. For that - I ask all believing Freepers to cover her in your prayers today and tomorrow.
