Yeah, but the teachers' union folks like when I call him McBright. lol I use both names for him but when he tried to board a plane in TIA with a nail clipper, I started calling him McBright. Hello, brilliant attorney, we are at war! Do not take your nail clipper to the airport, goofy.

Okay, so I was out of line when I used the word "moron."  However, I still say that it is way off base for Governor Bush to make the implication that he did.  We don't need to imply or make up facts that aint so.

He may not have meant too, but he certainly did paint with overbroad strokes.  One could be forgiven for believing that there were no free blacks, that 100% of slaves were illiterate, and that there was no opportunity for any of them - given the tenor of the article.  There wasn't even so much as a modifier in the article.  The least that could have been done was use the word "most."

If use of the word "most" is all it would have taken to make you happy, then, I agree, he should have used the word "most." To other readers, it was implied that he knew this.

It's true. Did you know that one predictor of future homelessness is failure of two or more classes in Middle School? If we can help the struggling student, and let them know that they are NOT dumb, etc. If we can help them succeed in school, stay in school, they are less likely to end up homeless as adults.
